Not too long ago, Ray ditched Katie for some personal training. However, he plans to meet up with her later. It might be interesting to travel with someone for once. The town is little busy and Ray for once don't have his jacket on. It is too hot for him if he did so he is keeping it into his backpack. Though he does have his odd sunglasses on his face to get past the sun glares. Next to Ray is his Machop who is walking around on his hands for the past hour. Ray couldn't help be amazed he is not tired or even pushing that hard for that matter. River can't even do a handstand. "Let find some double battles Cho. We're going to get you stronger!" Cho jump up and land on his feet and then give River a thumbs up with a huge grin.
It is as if he saying "this is the springtime of youth where need to train our bodies" or something along those lines. River had picked Cho up a little after catching Snivy last night. He just started following River for some odd reason and Ray felt sorry for him. So he added him to his team. Ray leans against a building while his Machop is practicing his kicks. Ray is now simply waiting for other trainers to passby to challenge for a double battle!

Crystal was on her way home from having a fun day at the beach. She would've stayed longer, but she had to go and babysit her baby sister, which she hated to do. Sighing she pulled her light brown hair into a ponytail, and while she wasn't paying attention, bumped into a rather cute guy a little bit older than her. Blushing slightly, she looked down and saw pokeballs on him. She smirked and thought this could be fun.. my pokemon need battle experience either way. "Hey cutie, since you don't watch where you're going, lets have a battle! 2 on 2! Come on you guys!" A girl had walked into him dressed in a bikini. This made eye contact hard for River in general to do. Ray also curious where would be the nearest beach? Or perhaps she was swimming the river? Though, none of that matters (besides eye contact) right now. It was time for battle. Ray grabs one of his Pokeball and release Snivy to the battle! "Let go Smugleaf!" Right now, River couldn't be more than happy he is wearing sunglasses or he be slapped silly right now! Ray let out a small cough and prepare to give his Pokemon orders. "Cho, use leer on Marill! Smugleaf, use Vine Whip on Marill!" For right now, it's better focus all of the attacks on one Pokemon. Cho gives a glare onto Marill to lower it dance a bit. Meanwhile, Smugleaf release some vines from it body and it would whip Marill to do super effective damage!  Snivy| Level 7 | Male Docile| Overgrow Tackle | Leer | Vine Whip. The Double Team one Pokemon tactic? A classic. Apparently a classic that Crystal didn't know about. She squealed and stomped her foot lightly, pouting as she did so. "No faaaaaaair!" She whined. The poor Marill hadn't seen it coming. He was concentrating on the Ducklett, both since it was slightly weaker than him but also because he had a massive crush on her, so not only was he startled and shuttered from the Leer, but the grassy tendrils of the Whip hit him straight on. He was lucky it wasn't a stronger attack, or he would have been out right now. "Duck! Ducklett!" The little bird cried out. That was her friend! She was ready to fight! "We can be meanie-pantes too, guys! Ducklett, Water Gun! Marill, Bubble! As the water attacks came after Machop, Ray was already thinking of a way to get out of this, sort of. "Sorry, everything fair in love and war. Smugleaf, protect Machop!" Smug of course would obey and run to Cho. Smugleaf hit cho onto the ground to dodge the first attack, but poor snivy would get hit in the back by the second attack. Taking minor damage from the water attack. Cho gets up and help Snivy up as well. Cho now with his serious face on. "Now you have done it, Cho use low kick on Marill! Snivy use Vine whip behind Cho on Marill!" Cho would run up to Marill and send his foot into Marill gut. Directly behind him, would be Snivy vines to hit Marill once again! Machop: Uses Low kick Snivy: Uses vine whip  |

Of course the Duckleett had try and play the valiant hero. In truth, she only helped cement her partner's demise. The duck leaped in front of the attack, ready to take the hit for the Marill, only to be pushed out of the way. This meant that not only did it get hit with the attacks, but it also had no chance to make the attacks hurt less. The duck watched as it's friend fell, passed out. His Trainer cried out and quickly called him back into his Pokeball. "Noooo! Marill!" She pouted and pointed to Ducklett. "Come on, Ducklett! Make them pay! Use your Water Gun on that Machop again!" What made her think that would work if it didn't the first time? Who knew. Regardless, the blue duck did as ordered. "Hmp, is that all you got?!" Meanwhile, Machop and Snivy felt as if they gotten stronger from beating Marill. Snivy run in front of Machop and take the blow. Again, not taking a whole lot of damage. "SmugLeaf, use your Gasto acid! Machop, use leer!"[/b] While this turn, the blue duck would take no damage. Snivy shoots some acid liquid to Duck that does no damage. Meanwhile, Machop cold stares him down. Now the Pokemon ability no longer goes to be effective, and it lost some defense. Allow for more damage from attacks. Machop uses: Leer Snivy: acid gasto

"Duuuck! Duuuuuuck!" The poor thing was kind of confused. They made her friend faint and they didn't do anything but spray her with nasty, stinky stuff and look her funny? This wasn't right! It was mean and the blue duck didn't like it! "Come on! Water Gun!" Still her Trainer didn't seem to care. Though there wasn't a specific on which one, the Ducklett shot out some water at the Snivy. Snivy gets hit with water gun once again. While not really effective the damage is starting to build up. Snivy bring out his grr face and both are ready to attack again. “Alright guys, both of you are attacking now!” With leer in effect it should help with the damage, River think to himself. This fight won't last much longer, but I am not sure if that is a good thing. With these sunglasses she really can't tell how hard I am staring at her. God I love sunglasses! Snivy and Machop nod in agreement. Machop charge at the blue duck Pokemon and would send his foot into his gut. Follow by Vine whip from Snivy as it from back it body and would whip it! As it was, these Pokemon were stronger now. The Ducklett? Not so much. Basically, it didn't stand a chance. With a few quick hits, she was down and the battle lost. Calling her pokemon back, she pouted and stomped. "No faaaaaair!" She yelled out. Still, she was already pulling out a small case from her Bikini top. She was skilled and careful enough not to flash, too. "I don't have any money on me, but I found this at the beach. Take it" She looked reluctant to give the treasure up, a TM it seemed. Ray would gladly take the tm and of course was closely looking for a brief moment of being flashed, but he was only disappointed as he didn't see anything. Ray gives Cho the tm and then head to the Pokemon center. River gives his Pokemon to nurse joy as she taken his balls for a moment to heal them. Ray then heard some rumors about a Pokemon stolen some earrings from one of the locals. Ray listens carefully about it and it's location to go. Ray figure this is a good chance to check up on this. Finally, Nurse Joy came back to his Pokemon fully restore. River grab his Pokemon and put them inside his jacket and then made his way to where the rumor said to be at.
Ray had to climb up a tree and cross a wooded bridge that connected to another tree that was across the river a bit to the other section of the village. However, this was becoming a little bit slow due there was a bunch of people on the bridge that made it hard to get through. Once he gotten down from the tree he just had to head straight and turn to a corner. However, he had to dodge some trainers in case they wanted to fight. River didn't want to deal with them as he finally then manages to arrive at the location. He knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer.

A woman opened the door. Not just any woman, but a woman who looked very rich, fancy, and sort of like a Wasp. "Yeeeeees?" She raised her eyebrow and scowled at him; this young man didn't look like the type of person that needed to to be knocking on her door! She also didn't do charity work, so if he was trying to get donations or sell something, he could just move right along! She scowled and sniffed, but then remembered something.
"Are you.... hear to find my earrings?" She said slowly, as if he were dense or stupid. She didn't wait for him to answer. "They were stolen from me over in the park by a terrible Pokemon! It was small and black and it was working with two other Pokemon to steal them!" She sounded aghast, and looked angry. "You must simply go find it!" Of course, if pressed further, she wouldn't give any more information other than it was a Trio of Pokemon, working under a black one, in the park.

As the door opens up and see this rich hag to answer it. God, is she old and with the worst voice I have ever heard of, River thinks to himself. Of course, he tried not to make a disgusted face from the smell of her perfume and her ugly face. "That's me..." After getting the information on where the Pokemon is located River walked off without allowing her to finish what she is saying. He didn't care if she is ticked off or think it rude. Her very existence is offending to him!
River made his way to the park to look for the thieves. However, Ray doesn't plan to return the earrings. River couldn't bare hearing her awful voice again or being in the same space as that perfume. The park has kids playing around and no sign of the Pokemon from first glance, but you could sense them. Ray brought out his gold Rolex watch and put it on his wrist. Maybe the greed of gold will lure them out. Though, even if they take it they are in for surprise since the Rolex is a fake. It a little trick he learned on the streets to bait people out.

Yes, the sight of the watch had indeed drawn some attention. Two Pokemon lurked in the bushes, ready to pounce for their boss. They had no idea why their boss wanted all of the shiny human stuff, but she did, and they liked working for their boss! She made them feel good about themselves. After all, no one else wanted them, so they would be bad and get revenge for it! Jumping out of the bushes, they rushed the man, determined to steal his watch. Two Pokemon had jumped out and River planned had worked. Ray put up bait watch up and release all three of his Pokemon from their balls. "Now that I know your hiding spot it over! Let's go, Cho, Smugleaf, and Rex!" All of three of his Pokemon came out and ready to go. While it seems to be unfair to release 3vs2 on them. According to the old hag there is one more that out there. "Smugleaf, uses Vine whip under that red slide!" Smugleaf vines from it's body lifts up and shoots out into the direction Ray had ordered in order to attempt to draw out the last Pokemon!
