Threads of Fate[ZB]

Threads of Fate is a Yu Yu Hakusho RPG that takes place shortly before the Dark Tournament. We accept Canons and Original characters, plus an engaging plot, a fun and exciting community, and a Newbie Guide for those unfamiliar with the story and characters of Yu Yu Hakusho.

Yusuke Urameshi assumed he would never see the Toguro Brothers again after their first encounter while he was on a mission to rescue the Ice Apparition, Yukina from the crime lord Gonzo Tarukane. He and his friend Kazuma Kuwabara fought a tough battle, but were finally able to put the seemingly unbeatable Toguros, and the case, behind them.

Or so they thought.

The Toguro Brothers had indeed survived, faking their supposed defeat, and now Younger Toguro is threatening Yusuke and his friends to join the Dark Tournament...or else. Sensing the impending danger and realizing that Yusuke and his team, composed of Kuwabara, Kurama, and Hiei, alone weren't enough to deal with this new threat, Koenma began to search for new Spiritually Attune humans in the Human World in hopes of employing them to join the Dark Tournament as well and put a stop to the bloody spectacle once and for all. For an unknown reason, more and more humans with Spiritual powers were appearing in the world of the living, almost as if responding to the tournament itself. It was within these unknowing souls that Koenma would have to put his trust in, while he himself prepared to support his Team Urameshi through the tournament.

However, Koenma wasn't the sole one with his eyes on the Dark Tournament. Demons and other fighters alike were gathering for the chance of having their greatest wish granted by the tournament committee, the prize for the winning team of the Dark Tournament. It seemed that more and more of them were popping up in the human world as well, leaving the Spirit World with an awful lot of work on its hands. Was it because of this surging influx of beings from the Demon World that so many Spiritual Aware humans were popping up out of nowhere? Not even Koenma himself had the answer to this question.

Whatever the case, all these souls, individuals, and their different struggles were about to collide with one another at Hanging Neck Island, the site of this year's Dark Tournament. That's where Team Toguro, headed by the Toguro Brothers, would be waiting for their next challenger. The tournament's outcome would be decided there, amongst the blood and violence that comes as second nature.
