Stars hung over head, and the moon shone brightly as Kat sat on the small ferry that was headed to Cross village. The soft salty breeze made the night and the ride even better. It seemed like there was another new trainer on board, but a few years older than her, but not like she gives a damn. Sighing, she laid back and watched the stars, thinking of how this journey will go, and sorta hoped she could find a friend or friends to travel with. She also wanted to see the ponyta she got, but apparently the captain doesn't allow pokemon as big as ponyta out on board.
After a few minutes of watching the stars, she was extremely bored again, and decided to walk around the ferry. Though of course, she wasn't paying attention and bumped into a man taller and older than her with spiked light brown hair. Narrowing her eyes at him, she snared slightly, " Watch where the hell you're going, sir.

While riding the ferry River couldn't help, but to feel sleepy. It is late out and usually when Ray goes to bed or at least how he feels. He has no watch on him and he had forgotten about the cheap cell phone he had gotten from the Prof. Charmander of course came out of his Pokeball and his eyes gazes around the ferry. His eyes came across a young girl who is a few years younger than him. However, he couldn't care less about her and he went back to watching his Pokemon. Though apparently, Charmander seems to be scared. His body seems to be trembling once he notices he saw the body of water around him. "No shit there a lot an of water. We're on a ferry so I suggest you get back in your ball." Ray gets his ball and transfer him back in.
Ray let out a sigh and stare out into the river around him. Trying to see through darkness into the river to see the Pokemon. If he had a notepad with him he would take notes which Pokemon he could see down there. Noting which Pokemon is native to this river. However, he couldn't see a damn so that idea went down the drain. Suddenly he felt something bumped into him and he turned around this girl started screaming at him. It is apparent from the girl from before. "The fuck you say nigga?! Go eat a dick! I was standing here the whole time. Watch where you going!"

After yelling out her remark, the man yelled back, telling her go eat a dick. Her cheeks grew bright red, with embarrassment and anger. " Sheesh Touche, want me to eat a dick ,eh? Whip it out and let me get a hard bite out of it, mkay? Kat giggled at her smart remark, and smiled devilishly. The ferry was soon at the dock of Cross village, and was letting passengers off. " Well, see ya big boy Kat grabbed her bad and walked off the ferry, and off to the side of Cross village, some where to set up a tent at.
A small flat opening was the perfect spot, and Kat soon started to set up her tent for the night. Once she was done, she figured she'd let Ponyta out now, and let her graze around some. Throwing her ball in the air, it opened up with a bright light, and a ponyta with... blue flames!?! Came out and kicked her back legs up in the air with enjoyment. Kat smiled and petted ponyta's head, "Hello Ponyta, Im your new trainer, Katinie its nice to meet you! Ponyta nudged her hand slightly and ran off a few feet to graze.

"Judging from that response I say you have experience. Perhaps that's how you got tickets on this ferry with that experience. With your cheap ass clothes." This unknown girl had pissed him off. Finally, they had arrived to cross village. Finally, Ray thought to himself. That damn chick ruined my ride. However, he quickly found himself calming down. Blaming it on being tired. As River made his way off of the Ferry he found that girl from before and she brings out her Pokemon.
The Pokemon she release would be a small Ponyta that appeared to be young. More to exact, appeared to be a low level Pokemon. Which is usually a sign of young Pokemon. What really peeked his interest what the fact of it's color. The flames on it was blue and not orange red. This interest had regained some of his energy as he got closes to look at this Pokemon whiles keeping his distance. He then looked at the girl. "Sorry about earlier, but I get grouchy when I am tired. I could not help but notice the color of your Pokemon. May I ask where you could of gotten it?"

As she was about to get undressed and ready to sleep, when that man walked up to her again, staring at her Ponyta. Still watching ponyta, he asked where she could have gotten her. " I got this Pokemon from one of the Professors at the Little Spirit Pokemon lab. Kat looked away and crawled into her tent, and waitied for the guy to stop staring her ponyta down. " So yea, I'm Katinie, you? And.. I'm sorry about earlier also.. Kat blushed, a bit embarrassed at talking to the man she yelled at, and not actually feeling sorry for it. " Well if you don't mind, I need to get undressed and go to sleep.. so I'll be in this tent if u need anything." Kat zipped up the door to the tent, and lit a small candle, before stripping down to her under garments.

"So did I, my charmander. Though. I wasn't aware there was more than one. My name is Ray River." He would look at the Pokemon some more and take out a notepad and paper. He would write information on the Pokemon. Gather info as well from his Pokedex and even taking a picture of the Pokemon. Finally, he would take his leave. "Well, see yeah I guess." River would walk away and would look for the Pokemon center in the dead night. Too tired to find a hotel to sleep in.
Ray came across the center after a bit of walking. He would enter inside and meet Nurse joy. He would inform her he is simply looking for a place to sleep for the night. She would show him an area where the boys sleep in bump beds. His room was empty and he quickly lay down and sleep. The next day! River would exit the center and would look around the village. Being a village of forest there should be some Pokemon around. Using his Pokedex and his knowledge to find some Pokemon. Looking for some rare Pokemon. Perhaps he might find that girl again in his search?

Last night was a wonderful rest for Kat, surprised that her back wasn't in pain. Stretching her legs and arms out, she pulled on a short sleeve gray sweater on, and a pair of blue jean shorts. As she stepped out, the sun shone brightly, and warmed Kat's skin. Packing up all of her stuff, including the tent she headed to her ponyta and slowly placed the bag on her back, and hopped on herself. " Well Ponyta! Lets start heading to Little Spirit Forest!" Kat pointed the way to go, and ponyta pumped her legs into a trot, and headed down the path towards the forest.
They were at the entrance, when Kat noticed the guy again, and thats when everything went wrong. Ponyta started bucking and whining loudly, knocking Kat onto the ground. The pain rushed to her back, making Kat softly groan. " Ow... Whats wrong Ponyta? Kat jumped up, and tried to calm her down, by petting her neck, and finally giving her a treat, which did the trick.

As Ray walked along the road whiles he look around in the area. His Pokemon, Charmander came out of his Pokeball. Charmander would roam around the area, but even he was aware to stick close. Ray let out a sigh, "Fine come out, but just stay close to me." Charmander nods his head in agreement. Ray would finally get to see his Pokemon in real light for once. Now he could see his Pokemon color is an odd color. Could it be that lab produces odd color Pokemon, Ray thinks to himself. Ray study his Pokemon closely when he hears something in the distance
Is that a horse, he thought to himself. "Rex, yes that is your new name now Charmander. Accept it and move on. Let find some Pokemon shall we? Around here, they most likely be weak like you and with my skills as a trainer we will be strong, the strongest!" Charmander would just blankly stare at his trainer and then did what he instructed. He accepted his name and move on. Suddenly, that horse sound seems to be closer than before. Ray turned around and saw the Ponyta from yesterday appeared near the entrance. Rex would rush to Ray side not sure what's going on. The Ponyta appeared to be out of control for a moment. "Pfft, what with all that? Can't keep your Pokemon under control? You know that the sign of a weaker trainer?"

Ray came out of no where and basically called her a weak trainer, which made her flush with anger. " Weak? Please, If anyone is weak its you with your puny little charmander. Ponyta just got spooked thats all, shes perfectly fine now." Kat smirked at her come back and brushed her hair back. Infact she thought of a good idea, "Hey how about a battle? It'll be fun, and we could use the experience. So If I win.. we travel together.. if you lose uh... idk you decide."Kat looked back at her Ponyta, and wondered what a good nickname would be for her... Blaze seems to be a good name. " Hey Ponyta, I think your new nickname will be Blaze, that ok with you?" Ponyta lifted her ears, and seemed to think for a bit before kicking with a happy attitude. Kat turned back to Ray, and got in his face, with a cute but mean look on her face. " Well you ready to battle me now? Katinie wants to battle you! River lift his head back and his eyes would close as he would simply laugh at her. With his chest would lift up and down in his uproar. "Ha ha, You're right, Rex is weak. I only had him for a day!" Rex would let out a small grow at River in response to Ray remarks. Though, even he couldn't with the statement, yet. River would settle down and Rex prepare himself for battle. Making it obvious he wants to prove River wrong in his statement; to the point he could take care of himself. River would settle down and stop laughing. She had made bet if one of the two win. "Idk, the hell crap is that suppose to mean? Idiots don't know? I don't know? Speak properly you little girl. Though it looks like Rex really wants to do this so why not. If I win you speak with proper English! Red would then charge at the odd color at full speed. The dust below him would fling into the air below with each step. His face would have this grr on it. Before she even knew it, Rays charmander was already heading for an attack on Blaze. Blaze certainly wasn't paying attention, like any other female, and Charmander slashed her right in the nuzzle. Blaze lifted her head in shock, and whined out in pain, but a fire lit up in her eyes, as anger filled through her. Kat smirked at this, and patted her back, " Ok Blaze, lets show him what you got! Tackle now at your full speed!"Blaze reared up, and pushed her legs off into a sprint, catching speed with each step. She pulled her head down, she should could ram Charmander hard in the stomach. Getting faster and faster, ponyta was only a few feet from charmander now, and was ready to strike with a fierce angry tackle. Blaze Level 5 Female Attacks: Growl, Tackle, Tail Whip HP: 35/50 |

Rex would take the full blow and get sent flying backwards. Rex would land onto the ground hard and rolled on the grassy ground. For a moment it appeared as if Rex was giving up. However, his tail flame would flicker hoter and Rex gets up. Rex would shape his and stare at his foe. Rex body is covered in dirt from rolling and stare at Blaze with anger and ready for more.
Not wanting to give up Rex would fight on and wait for his master orders. "Oh you are going to take that Rex and not doing notin about it?! Not on my watch, give that weak Pokemon your battle cry!" River pumped his fist into the air encouraging his Pokemon to fight on. Rex obeys his master and showed his teeth. Letting out a vicious growl toward Blaze.

The little shit head charmander used growl on Blaze, making her attack weaker. " Oh so you're gonna play that game... well then big boy Ill play with ya. Blaze, swing that tail of yours and use tail whip!" Blaze seemed to have smirked and attempted to whip charmander with her fiery tail. Kat narrowed her eyes as this battle would end soon, but who would win? They're almost evenly matched, Blaze with her speed, and charmander with his strength. Kat had to admit this guy will be a great trainer, even though he can be an asshole at times. A small grass pokemon, with lizard- like looks watched from the bushes as two scary fire pokemon fought each other, while their trainers stood and watched. The pokemon snarled quietly, thinking why pokemon would stay with such lazy ass humans. Before it knew it as it was thinking, one of its friends knocked it in the back hard enough for it to bounce out into the open where the pokemon were battling. A Treecko appeared! Rex gotten tail whipped from Blaze attack. Lowering Rex defense a bit making so far both of their attacks even. Not bad, to counter my tactic she lower my defense. Making a counter of damage we do will be same all around. Rex stares down Blaze and bring out his claws to prepare for another scratch attack. "Get ready Rex, to counter attack!" Ray would take knowledge of her skills just a bit.
However, still looking at her as she is weak with her Pokemon. He could not help this of course, currently they're both weak. Both of their Pokemon are low level and young. Both starting out as trainers. So while he calls her weak he is also calling himself weak! In the middle of the battle, a wild Treecko had appeared. "Oh this is a treat! A wild Treecko; now this is something you don't see every day in the wild!"

Still watching Ray with easy eyes, Kat noticed him look off to the side, before mumbling to himself. She wondered what he was looking at, and looked in the same direction. It was a Treecko and a cute one at that, though she hoped he wasn't planning on capturing it, because she was going to. Pulling out pokeball out of her small feather brown message bag, she ran out to the Treecko. " Blaze, we can finish our battle later, come and use tackle on this Treecko!" Kat yelled at Blaze, telling her to quit the battle.. for a Treecko? Blaze shoke her head in confusion and decided to do what Kat said. Pumping her legs, she started a sprint, and lowered her head to tackle the Treecko and maybe burn him slightly with her fiery mane. Treecko stood in fear as the trainers turned their attention to him. Only the trainer with the ponyta move towards, and seemed to ordered the ponyta to do something. Next thing he knew, the ponyta was heading his way about to tackle him. Considering the ponyta's speed, he wouldn't be able to dodge, and the ponyta hit him directly in the face, though luckily her mane didn't burn him. Treecko was angry now, and was gonna fight back, even though he was a grass type, and had no chance. Maybe he can lower the ponyta's defense and attack her then!
