Still, nothing had appeared for him at all. "Well this is odd I thought this area would be full of Pokemon." Ray would return back to where Kat is located. Ray didn't travel to far away and didn't care really if he adventure to far from her. The battle never really gotten started so neither of the two conditions of winning would be used. The two just used one or two moves and then she saw a wild Pokemon. Then of course she ditches the whole thing so now he is just looking around. While Rex is still chasing that small butterfly.

Ray came back just in time to see Kat throwing her Pokeball towards the Treecko to capture it. The ball flew through the air as if poetry in motion and hit Treecko. A red light burst from the ball and absorb the poor Pokemon inside it. Meanwhile, Ray walked over to the bushes to see if it friends were to still there. However, Ray didn't want to get catch off guard. So he turned around and call for Rex. Meanwhile, for Katie her ball shaken twice and seem like a third time for the capture and nope. The wild Treecko would burst out and ready for more!

Before Ray could get Rex over there he had apparently without meaning to causing trouble for another Pokemon nearby. A wild Spearow tail feathers gotten burnt from Charmander tail and caused it to get very angry quickly. Despite is was obvious on accident Spearow is very angry at Rex. Ray would turn around and focus his attention on the Spearow. Ray already knew he couldn't ignore it or it would just harass us to death. "Damn it Rex, you now caused the unwanted attention of a weak Pokemon. Get rid of it and quickly!"

Charmander, Rex would nod his head and prepare for battle. However, he couldn't help, but feel guilty about it. After all, it is his fault for it, but nonetheless. He has his orders. The wild Spearow would growl at Charmander causing him to lose some of his attack power. "Don't stand there Rex, show him your teeth!" Rex growls back and then bring out his claws. Spearow would quickly fly over and use its beak to peck at Rex head. Rex grabs his head and tears would swell up in his eyes and reply back with his own attack.

Rex claws would reach up and scratch Spearow stomach. Spearow let out a cry and fly up higher into the air to recover for a bit. Then growl again at Rex. Rex jumps to a nearby tree and jump off it to get closer to Spearow. Spearow eyes would grow in shock and let out a shocking cry. Obvious didn't think he could get up that high or at least that quickly. Rex would scratch at Spearow again, but this time onto its wing. The both fallen down onto the ground fast and hard. Rex lands on his feet and Spearow would flap his wings to slow down and gently land on the ground.

Spearow wing hurt a little too much to gain that much of flight again. Spearow would fly over and peck Rex in the head again. Rex cries out again and try to swing around to counter with another scratch. However, the Spearow able to move just right to dodge the attack. Rex gets hit with another peck to the head. Now in the upper yellow in terms of damage from the attack. Tears would fall from Rex eyes from the pain. "Rex, real men don't cry so don't you start! Hit him again with scratch!"

Rex obey his master orders and run to give another scratch attack to the Spearow. He lifts his arms up into the air to the Spearow. His claws hit the Spearow other wing and cause it to lose flight. Spearow hit the ground and let out another growl with not much else he could do at this point. Rex would let out another scratch attack for the finishing blow. Scratching its chest and causing it to faint. "Alright, let it alone now it's over."
Meanwhile, the Treecko would get absorbed by the Pokeball. It moves roll once, twice, and the final third time. For a moment nothing happens as if time has stayed still. Then finally it bright red to signal the Treecko has been caught. Meanwhile, Rex has leveled up to level six? Meanwhile, Ray would make his way over to bushes the Treecko bumped out and hope maybe a Snivy is there!

Ray would help Katie to get up from falling and look at the Snivy and his eyes open wide. "Finally found you, Snivy. Sorry, but Snivy comes first here." Ray couldn't help himself, but to be happy here. He already had a nice name for it, Smugleaf. Just look at that smug on it's face. It beams with confidence and Snivy are known to fight even against the large Pokemon. Confidants, brave, and that smirk. Perfect for my team, Ray thinks to himself. Charmander moves to the front lines despite tired still from the last fight. However, he is ready to go at it still and win this Pokemon for his master.

Despite normally Ray would have the advantage as a fire type he has yet to learn a single fire move. Not that strong enough to learn ember. I will do some damage to Snivy and allow Ray to get critical state. Then using a potion on him should allow him to stick around to the end and finally learn ember and able to catch Snivy. "Katie, we're going to battle later. I expect all of my Pokemon is going to be too tired to battle. Rex, use scratch attack!" Rex using a bit of his strength to raise his arms and then swing them to land a scratch attack to deal some damage to the Snivy!

Charmander gotten caught off guard for the fact both attacks end up missing! The vine whips hit Rex and cause him to land on one knee. Being a fire type it didn't do the full force of the damage. However, being weakened he is already Rex is feeling it still. With Kat aiding in this does help a lot here. This is perfect to use a support move while Pontya can attack on the offense. "Didn't expect you to help me with this, but thanks I guess." River has given it some thought on the best way to handle this. "Rex, show it your fangs and then keep yourself behind Pontya!" Charmander show his fangs and let out a growl. A loud growl in hopes that it put some fear into the snivy and that would lower Snivy attack power. With him staying behind Pontya could keep some of the attacks off of him.

Ray watches the battle unfold and notice Pontya is also hitting its limit. Meaning his tactic of back support can't last much longer. I might have to rush the capture, Ray thought to himself. "Kat, lets both attack at the same time!" Charmander move into position and prepare to attack. "Use scratch attack Rex!" Rex would charge Snivy and use a rock nearby as a stepping stool to jump off of. Attacking from above and if Pontya would attack as well would be perfect and limit Snivy method to dodge. If both attacks connect to Snivy then Ray would throw a Pokeball to capture it!
