When he saw the egg being lowered, Skarmory knew it was his time to strike. Letting out a loud, massive caw, it swooped down. It was surprised, however, by the cute blue bird Pokemon attacking it. So surprised in fact, that it flinched and lost it's chance to attack. Flying upwards, it was going to loop back around and try this again. Teal noticed how the Skarmory went in for another attack, seeing that Belle was a little busy at the moment--he decided to attack on his own. Swooping down to attack Skarmory seeing as it was too busy looking out for the egg as food, rather than keep its eyes on the opponent which happened to have been at close range before it used peck to gain it's attention.
Belle noticed how low Skarmory was going, she decided the best form of action was to start swinging the egg till it was safe on the ground, where she would be able to drop down before running off with the egg. She started to swing it slowly as the life line for this egg lowered it a bit faster now. "you are not getting this egg so easily!" Teal squawked in agreement as he stopped his pecking to use growl once more, he didn't like the fact that Skarmory would try to harm a defenseless egg, and he wanted to badly win this fight.
Canas was having a bit of trouble keeping up with Belle and Teal, but he tried his best to make as much string he could to get that egg safely to the ground, though he couldn't help but to feel as though the egg was still in danger rather than being any safer. That's when Canas started seeing a tiny rip along the string, even Belle noticed as she started to gain worry, "we got do this a little quicker Canas! If we don't, that egg is done for!"

That Growl! So cute! If the Skarmory could have, he would have blushed at that very moment. The growl distracted him to the point that he lost his balance flying and hit the ground, hard enough to do a little bit of damage. After getting up and dusting off, he squawked and turned around, kicking up a massive amount of dust and dirt for a Sand Attack. Belle and Canas lowered the egg a little faster as they noticed that Teal distracted Skarmory from hitting them, Belle had to control a laugh as Skarmory ended up hitting the ground when it lost balance. "Teal! Use Astonish again!" Canas looked, but went back to lowering egg faster as he understood he didn't have any time to mess around, not with the string about to break.
"Swa!" Teal cried as he dived down towards Skarmory ready to use Astonish on it, but then he noticed the dust picking up from Skarmory--the next thing Teal knew, he was getting bombarded by sand. Teal shook it off as he went to attack again, but noticed that he missed completely hitting the ground instead. It was a hard hit, making Teal twitch a little before getting back up still determined not to let anything happen to its friends and that egg.
"Swa!" Teal cried as it tried to use Astonish again at Skarmory, Belle noticed how hard Teal hit the ground and it felt like a stab through her heart seeing Teal hurt like that. Her eyes widen when she noticed him get back up, she felt proud to have such a determined partner by her side. "Don't give up Teal! I know you can do it! Go get em Teal!"
Canas cheered Teal silently as he continued to lower the egg, but then he heard the snap as he noticed the string broke lose, "pie!!!!" he cried to Belle. Belle looked with wide eyes as the egg fell down to the ground, and she did the only thing she could think of, she let her legs slide from where they hooked the tree and fell down with Canas in her arms as she reached for the egg.
Well in honesty she wasn't sure if she was even thinking right when she just completely dropped out of the tree, but she didn't really feel like scolding herself right now. It made her happy that she was able to catch the egg in time, it it didn't make her so happy that she ended up hitting the ground hard. She got up painfully as she looked at the egg.
She smiled thanking fate that the egg didn't break, she looked as Canas seeing he was safe as well. "At least you guys are safe and okay, but ow.... That really hurt...." she said rubbing her back as one hand. Canas looked at her worriedly as she stared at him, she smiled, "I'll be fine" she said, and Canas nodded looking back at Teal and Skarmory.

There was cry of fury as he was attacked again. He was... he was hurt! And that stupid girl had gotten out of the tree! A stupid egg wasn't worth all of that! Indignant, he raised himself up into the sky with his last strength and flew away, spewing the equivalent of Pokemon curses along the way. Belle was happy that Skarmory fled from battle, it only meant that Teal had given him a tough time and that Skarmory realized that there was no point in going after an egg that would was too troublesome if there was a fight to go through. Belle smiled at Teal holding out his pokeball, "get some rest Teal, we'll head back to the village so you can get some rest at the pokemon center. Canas here can keep me company."
"Swa...." Teal chirped tiredly as he returned to his pokeball, Belle placed it amoung the other pokeballs on her belt, she picked up Canas, "alright time to head to the village to get your guys fixed up" she said placing Canas on her shoulder, "pie!" Canas screeched happily as Belle walked the direction toward the village., and she smiled at Canas as she held onto the pokemon egg protectively.
She was able to find the village without any trouble as she brought the pokemon to the pokemon center. Nothing seemed to be in trouble so she took it as her way of knowing that everything was right and dandy as she gaved her pokemon and the pokemon egg to the nurse. Once she did she found a suitable place to sit, read, and finally have something to eat before she was called up to the counter.
Belle was handed back her pokemon as Canas took his place on her shoulder yet again, she had fixed a space within her pokemon bag for the egg, so that it'd be warm and wouldn't have any problem with suffocation, and thankfully she thought of ahead of placing soft warm blanket around the egg. Seeing that it'd be safe and sound she placed the bad on her again as she took Canas and the rest of her pokemon out of the center to continue her work, and journey.

Soon followed by his two friends chilling up on the roof. He was soon followed by a Cleffa and a Seedot, who seemed very protective of the Pineco and had jumped in front of him in an attempt to calm his nerves and confront the trainer and his three pokemon. "How dare you scare him, I'll make you pay for hurting my future husband!" The Cleffa said, waggling her fingers as the attack was chosen. "Wha-What?" "Piss off, he's mine." The Seedot said in an annoyed tone, not yet attacking. Then the attack from Cleffa took affect, it was Mean Look, in other words, they couldn't run away from the trio. "Why must they fight over me? I can't make a choice like that! The Pineco thought to itself.

When came out with Canas from the pokemon center--she wasn't expecting to see a Pineco in front of the door, nor did she expect to hit it on accident, she looked down when a Cleffa and a Seedot came out of the nowhere, and she looked at the startled Pineco. "I'm so sorry! Are you alright, oh how foolish of me! I should've watched more carefully!"
Then she noticed the Mean Look that Cleffa gave, she moved back a bit as Canas seemed really startled, "oh dear! Seems we've now stepped into a fight..." She looked to Canas as he wagged his head into a yes before going down to face the others, "do your best Canas" Belle said looking at him with a smile, that made Canas' heart flutter as she faced them, "pi!"
"Alright I rather not harm a pokemon, but... Canas, use string shot first!" Canas nodded as he used string shot at Pineco, whom was in front of him, he wasn't willing to let them through even if he was badly injured in battle. Belle used two more pokeballs as she called out the names, "Teal! Missy! Canas can't do this alone! Please lend some of your strength!" Teal and Missy appeared next to Canas, they might not be able to escape the battle, but they didn't want to leave their friend in trouble, Belle smiled looking at them, "remember try your best guys......"
Both Missy and Teal nodded as they faced the pokemon in front of them, Belle looked to Missy first, "Missy, use Psywave on Cleffa, Teal I want you to use Astonish on Seedot, take them out!" Teal and Missy nodded as Missy used Psywave at Cleffa and Teal used Astonish on Seedot.

"Ew. It's sticky." He said, feeling uncomfortable covered in such a sticky mess. Then Cleffa and Seedot were hit with the psywaves and astonishes. As Pineco became provoked, he had a light glow from him, from the core of his body. And the Seedot knew what was happening right away and quickly jumped away, as Pineco used selfdestruct. The attack would have the radius to now damage both Teal and Canas, damaged for every bit of health he had, but then Sturdy activated leaving him very weary but still conscious. Next was Cleffa again with the waggle, wiggle, waggle,wiggle waggle. This time it was a Blaze Kick. As the Cleffa charged towards Canas she jumped up into the air and came down at his face with a flame enveloped leg. |

Belle jumped when Pineco used selfdestruct--she was hoping it would have come to that, but it did and unfortunately Canas and Teal were caught in it. Not too much damage was given to Teal, but most damage went to Canas, he didn't look too good, and it was only made worse by the blaze kick that Cleffa used on him.
"Canas, hold on I got just what you need" she said as she took out a potion from her bag, she used it on Canas noticing his loss of balance, but it seemed to come back to normal when she used the potion on him. "Pie" Canas cried happily before going back to position between Missy and Teal, and Belle nodded thoughtfully.
She took the study of looking at the three other pokemon, Pineco seemed a bit exausted, but that didn't seem to take place on the other three pokemon. "Alright, lets save Pineco for last, we need to get Cleffa and Seedot under control! Teal use peck on Seedot."
Teal flew high before speeding down by Seedot pecking her on the head as he continued to use peck on her. Belle looked to Canas, "Canas use tackle on Cleffa"[/color she said as Canas nodded, "pie!" he cried as she started to bounce/run at Cleffa ready to do a headbutt. Finally Belle looked to Missy, "Missy, use Psywave on Cleffa as well!"
Missy nodded as she floated over to Cleffa, "Miss!" she cried as she let her psywave fly at Cleffa. Belle nodded as she looked to Pineco, she didn't want to hurt it, but she didn't know if it would attack again--it looked to hurt to fight, but she wasn't sure what would happen if she were to step near him--for now she would take care of the other two pokemon.

Then as she tried to get up she began to waggle those fingers again, wiggle,waggle, wiggle, waggle as her body was engulfed in flames, as she got up, the flame became stronger and was formed into a teardrop shape. "STAY AWAAAAY FROOOM HIIIIM!" She yelled as the intense flame was shot directly at the Mismagius, this attack like many other fire attacks could leave a burn but was also even stronger than a flamethrower attack. Next was Pineco who had remained unattacked this time tried his luck at jumping straight at Canas for a Tackle to retreat quickly if it hit or missed. Finally was Seedot who covered herself in a red aura created by her bide attack, now all the damage she took within the next two hits would be stored up and would hit the target back with double the damage he had taken. "Come at me beakface." |

Belle noticed the bind attack that Seedot was waiting for--when she saw that red aura like shape take place she immediately needed Teal to change directions. "Teal! Change directions and use peck on Cleffa instead! Now!" she yelled, Teal gave a nod of understand as he started to turn, he barely missed Seedot and shot straight at Cleffa instead.
"Pi!" Canas cried as he fell to the ground fainted, Belle took notice as she returned him to his pokeball, and lifted it up to her lips kissing it, "you did splendid Canas, now get some rest." She returned the pokeball along side the empty ones as she stared at Pineco, could it be....the reason why this battle started is because they're protecting Pineco? So then.... I need to catch Pineco so that I can try to calm the other two down.....
Belle took out an unoccupied pokeball from her bag as she stared at Pineco, "forgive me Pineco, but you're going to get caught!" she yelled throwing the pokeball at Pineco. She looked to Missy afterwords as she noticed she got it, and badly at that. "Hang on Missy, I got what you need right here" she said as she used a potion on Missy, good thing too--because she almost looked ready to collapse.
Missy was immediately floating again waiting for Belle's orders, "alright I want you to use psywave one more time on Cleffa! That metronome is really annoying and very bad to get hit by, so please do so one more time and I'll let you take a rest!" Missy nodded as she used Psywave one more time to hit Cleffa, "Miss!"

"Hehe, don't even try it bird boy." She remarked at Teal as the red aura began to glow once more, signaing that it was storing energy. As that move finished the Seedot got out of the way as the Psywave hit Cleffa right in the face and a pokeball was thrown at Pineco who was also hit in the face. As he was absorbed into the ball it began to shake back and forth while he struggled to get out, he really did not enjoy the idea of constantly being put into battle not to mention the confined spaces in the pokeball. Finally after two shakes in both directions he was released and began to shudder. "You're going to pay for trying to capture him!" "You're going to pay for trying to capture him!" They said in unison as the Cleffa did her finger thing again. This time it was a non-damaging move called Soak, as she shot the wave of water at Misdreavus it would turn her into a water type temporarily, followed by a tackle attack by the recently released Pineco. |

Belle returned Missy to her pokemon ball when she fainted, she raised it to her lips to kiss it like she did with Canas', "splendid try Missy..... Now get some well deserved rest" she said as she placed Missy's pokeball with the rest of the pokeball. She looked at Teal seeing that he was doing fine till he was blocked by Seedot, "Teal!" she warned, but it was too late--Teal had hit Seedot instead of Cleffa.
Even though Missy's psywave had hit Cleffa, she was still standing along with Cleffa being able to take out Missy, though Cleffa also was able to get Teal as well, and then Teal had gotten hit by Seedot's bide--to make matter's worse, Teal was finally taken out by Pineco's tackle. Belle rushed forward to catch Teal as he slammed into her, almost taken her off balance. "Swa....." Teal cried trying to shake off the pain, "no don't.... You did a perfect job Teal" she said looking at him with a smile, "you did very good"
She raised his pokeball to Teal, "now get some rest Teal, you definitely deserved it" she said as she returned to Teal to his pokeball, and she got up and looked at the three pokemon. She moved a step forward, but stop before she got too close--then she knelt smiling at them, "that was a great battle, you three are really strong" She looked at Pineco apologetically, "sorry about that.... I didn't mean to catch you, but it was the one way I thought would end the battle quickly, I was going to release you afterward, my policy is not to force a pokemon to come with me.
She looked at them, "I'm heading back inside to get my pokemon healed up and I rather not let you guys remain hurt after a pokemon battle" she pointed to the capture gauntlet that rested on her arm, "it's my job as a pokemon ranger to protect pokemon, so lets get you guys fixed up.... At least if you can trust me enough to carry you guys inside....."

The three pokemon had seemed to have one the battle, all 3 extremely tired. Their pants almost timed exactly to each others. The pink pokemon hand looked at the seedot for a moment before rushing over to her crush, the seedot just standing tall. The Pineco was just barely hanging on. When the female had returned it stared at her before just nodding, obviously just wanting to get away from the smaller two. The smaller two would follow.
