The young man looked up at her, worry on his face. "My Biddy is hurt!" He said to her. "Very badly, but..." He scowled. "I can't take him to the Pokemon Center. He's so badly injured that he can't be moved" Of course the question that probably came to mind was 'well just put him in his pokeball'. But the man couldn't do that. See, this Pokemon lived with him and worked with him, but as he had never captured it, it was still technically a Wild Pokemon. "I... I hate to ask but.... can you help me? I think if I just had some Potions..."

“Oh, no the poor thing . . .” Sila was honestly hurt by the story. Anyone being in such a position would tug her heartstrings, but Bisharp was a Steel-type, so it was especially painful for her. She started fiddling through her backpack, this time partially taking it off so she wouldn’t repeat the incident of the Poké Ball. It took her a few seconds, but she managed to find the Potions she got in the trainer’s kit. She pulled out two and held it out to the boy, giving him a soft, reassuring smile. “Here, use these. I have more if we need them. Just make sure ‘Biddy’ is okay, alright?”

"I.. I.. thank you!" He honestly didn't know what to say. So happy, he quickly took them from her and sprayed the Bisharp down. It wiggled some, and seemed a little bit more lively than before, although it still seemed to be in a lot of pain. The man scooped the Pokemon up in his arms. he was about to turn and run directly to the center, but stopped, pulled out his wallet, and handed the girl 500 dollars. "Thank you.. you don't know how much this means to me...." And with that he ran off to make sure his buddy was alright.

“Whoa, w-wait, I don’t-!” Sila started to protest to be given the money, but the boy left too fast, leaving the girl staring at the wad of cash in her hands. It felt like it was a bit much to accept. All she wanted to do was help a poor soul out, after all . . . but, he was gone. So all she could do was accept the money. Truthfully, it would probably be a nice boost to her start, too. ‘Oh well~’ she thought happily, putting the money in her pack. An exclamation mark might as well have spontaneously formed over Sila’s head as she realized something. She had to go to the Pokémon Center, too! Both of her Pokémon needed to go there, Pichu especially. Sila looked around, trying to find the Center, then immediately headed for it. The comforting ringing of a bell chimed as the double-doors opened to let Sila in. The floor was polished to a shine, and there were a bunch of sofa and chairs in the main lobby, some of which were occupied by relaxing or waiting trainers. Her shoes made soft taps as the young girl softly ran across to the front desk, greeted almost immediately by a red-haired nurse. “Hello, I’m Nurse Joy. I guess you want me to take care of your Pokémon, yes?” Sila nodded as she handed over her two Poké Balls. “Mhm. I just caught my first Pokémon, so it needs to be all better and stuff!” “Oh, how wonderful,” Nurse Joy replied, “Congratulations! Your first Pokémon catch is one of the best milestones you’ll ever remember.” Sila smiled. She always heard that Nurse Joy (all of them) was very nice, and it was nice to see that it was true. While Nurse Joy placed the Poké Balls in the carrying case, she took a second look at her newest customer. “Say, are you Sila Dalca?” Surprised, Sila nodded softly, her eyes slightly wider as she felt nervousness grow in her. “Uh, yeah?” Despite Sila’s nervousness, Nurse Joy smiled at her. “You have a message on the PC over there,” she said, laying her palms out to point towards a computer laid against the wall.” Sila looked towards it, then back to Nurse Joy as she took her Pokémon away, then back towards the PC, curiously walking over to it and pressing the play button. To her surprise, it was a note! Dear darling,
I heard you were off on your adventure! I’m so happy for you! I hope you’re doing well, and most importantly, enjoying yourself. Pokémon is happiness, always remember that!
Oh, your grandfather decided to break his back to give you a going away present. You’ll probably like it, but you’ll love it eventually, I’m sure. Enjoy it, and good luck on your adventure! Now, I have to go ice down my husband. Make sure to write sometime!
With love, Grandma After that, the message automatically deleted itself, and in the machine next to the screen, a Dusk Ball appeared. Ever the curious one, Sila picked it up and opened it, releasing a Pokémon out in a flash of purple-blackness. This proved to be a mistake, as the gift her grandfather got her turned out to be an Onix, which immediately filled up nearly the entire room, pushing aside people, Pokémon, and furniture alike as it formed out of energy, causing a panic in the entire place, which included even her. She screamed, quickly commanding the Rock Snake Pokémon to return. Embarrassed, Sila immediately began apologizing and bowing to everyone. It was an accident, but still . . . . At least it looked like no one or nothing was hurt.

A boy happened to be sitting in the corner when this happened. He was tired, hungry, thirsty and sleepy. All he wanted to do was relax and enjoy a nice meal here in the Center before going to sleep in one of the provided rooms. The day just hadn't worked out for him. He was cranky. And it still wasn't. In the excitement of the onix being released, his most favorite meal was knocked over, and he couldn't get anymore of it until tomorrow. He stared at the floor, slack jawed, for a long time. Head down, he slowly stood and walked over to it's owner. "Battle me." He hissed under his breath. He would take out all his anger and frustration on her!

‘This day is just FILLED with bad events,’ Sila whined to herself, ‘First that professor slams into me, then those Beedrill, then this ‘present’ (thanks, Grandpa!), and now I made this guy mad! Is this supposed to be a good start or something?’
Sila thought about the boys request . . . or more aptly, demand. She had given her Elekid and Pichu not two minutes ago, which meant that this Onix was the only Pokémon she had on her at the moment. Was it ready to fight? Moreover, was she ready to fight another trainer? She won that Pokémon battle pretty easily, but that was one thing. She knew that.
Clasping her hands together apologetically and bowing again, Sila muttered, “. . . okay. Please lead me to the battle arena.”

The boy did as he was told, taking her outside and around back to a basic dirt arena. As it turned out, he also only had one pokemon on him, his others being healed at he moment. He threw his Pokeball, the monster inside being a Slugma. "Okay, Slugma!" He said. "We're going to take this girl down!" ‘This is a battlefield in the view of a trainer, huh? Neat’ Sila stepped into the drawn box dubbed for use of the trainers, softly tapping her toes into the ground. It was a very nice viewpoint, quite honestly much better than the sidelines, in her opinion. Sila didn’t have much time to enjoy herself, as the boy she apparently made very angry released a Slugma. Sila pulled out her Pokédex and opened it, scanning Slugma. “Slugma,” Said the Pokédex in its feminine robotic voice, “the Lava Pokémon. Slugma’s body is made of magma. If it stops moving, its body would cool and shatter, reducing its size. Despite this, Slugma has been seen sleeping near magma pools hot enough to keep it warm.” “A Fire-type, huh?” Sila asked herself as she pulled out her Dusk Ball. “Alright, Onix, time for our first battle!” Throwing out the decorated orb, the Rock Snake Pokémon formed out of the dark energy, letting out a semi-loud, “Iwaaaaaaaaaaaaa.” It twisted slightly and stared down at the Slugma while Sila scanned its moveset. ‘Harden, Mud Sport, Tackle, and Bind . . . a pretty good set, considering.’ Sila’s mind immediately began thinking of the different ways she could use these moves. Harden would help her defensively no matter what move the Slugma threw at her, but . . . perhaps it could also be used offensively. After all, the harder the rock smacking you, the harder it hurts, right? “Onix,” Sila commanded, pointing at Slugma, “Use Tackle!” Onix||Level 3||Male Mild||Sturdy Itemless Mud Sport; Tackle; Harden; Bind

As the giant Pokemon charge at Slugma and tackle it. Sending the poor Pokemon to be sent to the ground on it's side. The poor Slugma let out a small cry in having trouble of getting back right side up. After a bit of a struggle it's finally gotten itself up normal. However, while the Onix attack had connected it did have its down side to it. Slugma ability is flame body. When it is hit directly from an attack of physical there a chance that Pokemon will be inflicted with burn. Poor Onix has fallen under this effect and became burnt. "How dare you do that to my poor Slugma! You're going to pay for that," yelled the boy toward Sila and her Pokemon Obvious not pleased with what happen to his Pokemon and then force to watch it struggle just to get back up due to the shell being so heavy. The boy let out a grr toward and then point his arm toward the Onix. "Slugma, use Ember attack now!" Slugma nod it head in agreement and then took a deep breath. Using it magma body to produce small flames inside it's mouth and it shot it out. Shooting the small flames to the Onix. SlugmaFemale; Flame Body; Level 5 Yawn; Smog; Ember Uses: Ember

“Onix, use Mud Sport,” Sila immediately commanded, pointed at the flames in midair. It complied and shot a volume of mud out of its mouth as if it was hawking a massive loogie. Normally, Mud Sport was used against electricity (like it was very useful for a Ground-type), but since mud was cold, wet, AND dirty, it made a spectacular defense against fire as well, or that was her hypothesis at least. Turns out, she was right! The mass of mud easily put out the weak ‘flames’ in midair and continued flying towards the Slugma. It was then that the Burn decided to be especially painful, briefly engulfing Onix in flames before dying out. Despite the fact that it was annoying and painful, it wasn’t overly so, thanks to the Rock-type nature of the Rock Snake Pokémon. Sila pressed on the offensive. “Onix, use Tackle again!” Onix||Level 3||Male Mild||Sturdy Itemless Mud Sport; Tackle; Harden; Bind i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff459/Inoko_Uchiha/HighGreen-1.jpg [/img]

Sadly, the Tackle attack hit. Sadly for the owner of the girl, anyway. However, since the Onix was burnt, the attack was lessened; if being hit by a giant rock monster could hurt less, that is. Regardless, when she managed to blink and regain her composure from being Tackled by the huge thing, she attempted to attack it again. With a great breath, she used her Yawn. Since this was more a sound than an attack, it couldn't miss, and the giant rock would be asleep in the turn after next. Sila watched in horror as Slugma released a pink bubble from its mouth, which immediately floated towards Onix’s face. ‘What am I to do’ she thought hurriedly, ‘Being burned is bad enough, but sleep AND burned . . . wait . . .’ Sila grinned just as the bubble popped in Onix’s face, who didn’t react in the slightest. Taking advantage of the confusion, Sila commanded Onix immediately, “Onix, use Bind now!” As the Rock Snake Pokémon tried wrapping its tail around the mud-covered Lava Pokémon, Sila issued her next command, telling Onix to use Tackle again. Onix’s Burn engulfed it in flames once again, but he was able to ignore it enough to keep his focus down. Onix||Level 3||Male Mild||Sturdy Itemless Mud Sport; Tackle; Harden; Bind MID-GREEN

Female; Flame Body; Level 5 Yawn; Smog; Ember "Hang in there Slugma, and use Smog!" The trainer called out. Damn that must have hurt as Slugma was hit over the head with that tackle not to mentioned it's lava body was being squeezed somehow. the Slugma the opened her mouth and a cloud of thick grey smoke flowed out at Onix's face, sure poison wasn't very effective against Onix but it had a fourty percent chance to poison it as well. And poisoning definitely was a rather nasty status affliction for any species except maybe steel types as they were completely unaffected by poison type moves.

Sila’s Onix coughed, but it raised its head above the smoke, seemingly unhampered by the Poison attack. It was, after all, a Rock/Ground-type, both of which were resistant to Poison. Moreover, Sila knew that her Onix was completely immune to the high chance of Smog’s Poisoning since it already had a status effect. Quite honestly, Sila was beginning to question this guy. Anyone who went to a Trainer School for a day knows basics like this, and just being angry (moreover, being angry over an accident), was no excuse to lose your mind over, as far as she was concerned. Onix was engulfed in flames once again, but it kept its composure, still squeezing the Slugma and using Tackle on it at Sila’s command. Slugma get sent back flying whiles it magma from it own body hit the ground and causing shizzle noises as it sprays and Slugma almost hit his trainer. Thankfully, he ducked before it could hit him. The young angry trainer counts his blessings for a moment. Just thinking about getting hit from a Slugma scared him out of his mind. "HEY HEY HEY! DON'T THROWING SLUGMA AT ME!" Slugma raise back up slowly and it's breathing hard from the damage and it body cover in dirt and cuts. Obviously, feeling the effects of the battle and it releases some smoke out of his mouth. Strain with pain through its body, but still has some fight left in him! "Slugma, use EMBER attack now!" Slugma shoots off weak flames to the large Onix. Meanwhile, Onix takes another blow from burn.
