Description: Eclipse takes place after all of the events in NBC's Heroes. This is an OC-only Heroes RPG. There are several different factions to join (most were player-created) and we're always looking for new blood, new ideas, and new directions from the people who matter the most: the players!
Type of Banner: Static and scrolling.
Where Will Your Banner be Placed? Depends on where you put the Eclipse banner. If you make us static, we'll make yours static. If we don't meet the requirements to be in your static banner, we're happy with being in a marquee/scrolling banner as well. Your banner will be placed in our marquee/scrolling affiliates bar.
Rules for our static banner are:
- Your site must be active (must have had at least some IC activity within the last 30 days)
- If you request to be made into a static affiliate on our site, we need to be a static affiliate on yours.
Status on Board: Site Admin
How long has the board been around? 4 years as of 16 July 2012.
Number of Players: About 30, but a lot of them are on Away status right now due to health/personal issues which is why we're looking for new members. We're still managing to keep the plot moving and are hoping that a site revamp will breathe new life into things.
Why affiliate with us? Us RP boards gotta stick together. (; Eclipse is seriously an extension of family. Whenever a member's in trouble IRL, we've always helped bail them out--even if they live overseas. We really genuinely care about all of our members outside of the game and will put our lives on hold to help one of them out when they need it.
Case in point: When I fell on really rough times last year, one of our members sent me a huge care package of food--without which, I wouldn't have been able to keep myself fed since money was really tight. Some of us are also planning a trip sometime next year to meet up with our RP counterparts across the pond. (: We're a really great, tight-knit community, and we're always very welcoming to new people. Always looking to extend the family further!
Do we need to apply for affiliates on your board? If you want to be moved from our scrolling banner to our list of static affiliates, yes.
