The sun blazed over head, as Kat woke up from her short nap. Blaze, Treecko, and her newest member Buizel all laid a couple of feet away from her. Yawning, she stood up and stretched her back slightly hurting from the roughness of the forest floor. Grabbing a water bottle out of her bag, she nudged her pokemon to wake up before taking her a big drink. "Well guys, are you ready to start doing some training?"Blaze kicked her legs in the air, as Treecko waved his arms, and Buizel spun her tails. Kat giggled and returned Treecko and Buizel back into their balls. Pulling herself up onto Blazes back, she pointed the way to go, before Blaze took off at a slow trot. Kat watched the ground for any pokemon that she could possibly catch or level up her pokemon with.They were starting to get closer to Cross village, so Kat decided to turn around and go through the forest once more.

Suddenly, two wild Pokemon has appeared! One is a monkey Pokemon is simply known at Mankey. The wild Mankey cut off their path provoking for a fight whiles he jump up and down making monkey noises. Mankey throws punches and throw dirt up into the air like a crazy person. "Maaa keeeeey, MA MA MA MA monkey!" What he is saying is impossible to understand, even to other Pokemon. With him is his friend mustelid-like Pokémon! Despite being with Mankey for a long time he has no idea what he is saying. Unlike his friend, Mienfoo would get into a karate position to prepare for battle. What will the trainer and her friends do? Battle the two Pokemon or ignore their challenge? Two pokemon jumped in front of Blaze, making her back up some. Kat narrowed her eyes to these pokemon. One seemed to be like a monkey, the other one reminded her of a weasel. This was the perfect time for her to train Treecko and Buizel. Sliding off Blaze's back, Kat pulled out Treeckos and Buizels pokemon balls. "Ok you two, its time to train!" Treecko came out first, stretching and warming up his body for the battle. Buizel came out after, her tails spinning like a tornado, as she was itching to battle. Kat smirked at how her pokemon were always ready to battle. Ok, Treecko use leer to lower their defense! Buizel use Growl to lower attack! Treecko blinked a couple of times before his eyes flashed brightly red, followed by Buizel showing her teeth and growling deeply at the Mankey and Mienfoo. Treecko used Leer; Buizel used Growl! Mankey took a step back for being a little afraid of their tactics. However, Mienfoo kept himself stead-ready and became un-afraid of them. Instead he closes his eyes and took a deep breath. Nothing around mean anything to him as he first thinks of nothing, but of good things. Like winning this fight and then he cleared his mind to the point it raises his attack power up a bit. Then he opens his eyes and looked more ready than before for battle! Mankey gets angry for their tactics and start charging at them and then he jumps up and send a kick to the back of Treecko neck and then flips forward to perfectly landing on his feet.

The Mankey got extremely mad and launched a attack at Treecko. Though Treecko jumped out of the way just in time to dodge it with his speed. The Meinfoo seemed unaffected and instead raised its attack even more. Kat clinched her fist slightly, before thinking of a plan. "Treecko, Buizel ! Work together. Now give Treecko a boost, and Treecko jump off Buizels back, using pound on mankey! Buizel follow with sonic boom!" They both nodded, as Buizel bended over just enough for Treecko to step on her back. Treecko jumped onto her back and launched himself at mankey, his paw ready for pound. After launching Treecko in the air, Buizel started twirling her tail in a super speed before using her paws to clap together hard enough to make a sonic boom. Treecko used a Aerial Pound! Buizel used Sonic Boom!Treecko Level 3 Pound|| Leer Buizel Level 3 Sonic Boom|| Growl|| Water Sport|| Quick Attack |

While in midair, Mienfoo comes from the right side to attack from the Treecko blind side. As he is charging at him and jump into the air and take his hand hit Treecko on his side to stop Treecko attack and knock him down. Mienfoo then flip it body to avoid the sonic boom believing Mankey can take care of himself. Mienfoo would land on his feet. Mankey raises its arms up to protect itself and get hit from the sonic boom. Sending Mankey flying backwards and hit a tree causing even more damage. Mankey calm itself down and instead of attacking in pure rage. Mankey focuses his energy to prepare for its next attack! Mankey Level: 5 Gender: Male Attack: Focus Energy, Scratch, Low Kick, Covet  Uses: Focus Energy Mienfoo Level: 6 Gender: Male Attacks: Meditate, Pound Uses: Pound |

Kat gasped as the Meinfoo knocked down her Treecko and knocking him out in one shot. Growling, she returned him back into his pokeball for a rest. Alright Blaze! Get in there and use tackle on Meinfoo! Now Buizel use quick attack to hold Meinfoo down till Blaze hits him!" Blaze jumped into the action and moved in legs in a unknown speed towards Meinfoo, ready to tackle him into the tree behind him. Buizel nodded and got on all fours, before using quick attack to hold Meinfoos arms down with her arms, and feet with her tails. Blaze used Tackle!; Buizel used Quick attack! Ponyta Level 8 Growl||Tackle||Tail Whip Buizel Level 3 Sonic Boom|| Growl|| Water Sport|| Quick Attack |

Mienfoo at first struggle and then stopped trying. Knowing there was no way it was going to get out like this. If there was going to be anyway it was to focus and calm it mind to raise it strength. It closes it eyes and think of nothing, but positive thoughts. The finally free of all thoughts around it. Mankey on the other hand wasn't going to sit by and let it buddy get hurt! Now it focuses it strength and prepared for battle. It rushes to in-front of Mienfoo and running straight for Pontya with it claws. The Mankey would take the Pontya attack whiles it uses it focus energy to enhance it scratch attack! Mankey Level: 5 Gender: Male Attack: Focus Energy, Scratch, Low Kick, Covet  Uses: Scratch! Focus energy is in effect! Mienfoo Level: 6 Gender: Male Attacks: Meditate, Pound Uses: Mediate |

Kats anger was building up as these wild pokemon kept protecting each other and ruining her attacks. Blaze was also scratched up pretty back on her nuzzle, but her flames blazed up more with anger. Ok you wanna play that game.. huh? Fine Kat closed her eyes as she thought of some way to beat these to. Mankey was weakened so maybe she could go ahead and get rid of him. " Buizel use sonic boom on Mankey and Meinfoo while they're close! Blaze, use tail whip! Buizel waved her tails back and forth, and pulled her arms all the way back before bringing them back together for a loud sonic boom. Blaze jumped around and whipped her tail at Mankey and Meinfoo. Buizel used Sonic Boom, Ponyta used Tail whip.Blaze (Ponyta) Level 8 Growl||Tackle||Tail Whip  Buizel Level 3 Sonic Boom|| Growl|| Water Sport|| Quick Attack |

It should be known that typically, Mankey didn't have a lot of stamina. When you were hit by attack that always took away so much of that stamina, it could end up very bad. And this is what happened. The Poor Mankey was just suddenly so drained, it passed right out! Mad, the Meinfoo attacked. His movements were solid and flowing; even if he was angry, he mist keep calm to battle effectively! Leaping upward, he attempted to Tackle the Buizel. Mankey Level: 5 Gender: Male Attack: Focus Energy, Scratch, Low Kick, Covet  Fainted! Meinfoo was heading right towards Buizel with a pound. "Hurry Dodge it Buizel!" Buizel shook her head and leaped out of the way, but Meinfoo ended up hitting her in the leg. Such power just about drained all of Buizels strength. Pushing herself she narrowed her eyes and waiting for a command. Kat clinched her fist together really hard as her angry built up with this pokemon. "Ponyta use tackle! Buizel follow with one more sonic boom!" As she gave her commands, Kat pulled out a couple of her pokeballs. Ponyta ran from behind Meinfoo, getting ready to attack, as Buizel pulled herself up and clapped her paws together on the right side of Meinfoo. After their attacks, Kat would throw a pokeball at Meinfoo. Blaze (Ponyta) Level 8 Growl||Tackle||Tail Whip Buizel Level 3 Sonic Boom|| Growl|| Water Sport|| Quick Attack  |

Poor Mienfoo just couldn't finish at least one of them. Numbers game gotten to him and Mankey. Both attacks had hit their mark and caused him to be sent flying backwards and hit a tree to cause even more damage to him. Mienfoo stands up for a brief moment as if he was going to have one last stand and take one out. However, he fell to one knee. Before it could fall face first into the ground. It felt something hit its head and then darkness. The Pokeball didn't even shake once. Just a single click noise for signaling it been caught. Mienfoo Level: 6 Gender: Male Attacks: Meditate, Pound Caught! |

Ray walks along the path of the forest and then he can finally arrive on the first route. The real first steps of his journey. However, so far he is doing pretty good. Ray thought of letting Rex out, but his tail alone could cause a forest fire on mistake. That is something even Ray doesn't want to be on his conscious. However, there was a new Pokemon he had recently option and it could talk. River has been curious how it learned how so he raise his Pokeball and release it. The black and red color fur that appears to be a fox like Pokemon
The Zorua looks up at its new trainer and still not really pleased how everything went down. It looks at Ray and let out a laugh. "So, how did you learn to talk like that." The little Zorua laughs again whiles changing into Ray. "Ugh the hell.. Don't turn into me!" Zorua looks at him and replies "How about you catch me to make me stop!" Zorua Pokemon in the appearance of River then ran off into the forest. Ray sighs out and follow him through the forest. Zorua laughs out and jumped into a try and watched Ray run past. Zorua looks into the distance and see a girl just caught a Pokemon. Zorua jumps from tree to tree to get a closer look.

It was already getting late, and Kat hasn't even made it through the forest yet. She just finished up healing Treecko, Buizel, and Meinfoo from their battle. Kat decided this was a good time to give them each nicknames. "Ok.. let me think.. Treecko you will be Poison. Buizel you will be Jet, and Meinfoo you will be Kick. Hows that?" They all jumped happily in the air and ran around her as they played. Blaze was to big to play, as she would step on them, but she didn't care all that much. Kat yawned loudly and headed over to Blaze, and pulled out her own brush to use on Blaze till she was able to buy another one. She was careful not to touch her flames, as they would burn her brush to a crisp. "Today was a good training session wasn't it Blaze?" Blaze nuzzled her in response before running around the area to stretch out her legs. A low grumbling came from Kats stomach, which made her blush softly. I wonder... Kat pulled her bag into her lap, and searched through it for something to eat, and only came up with a bag of chips. Pulling it open, she sat down on a log and started to munch on them.

The Zorua in the shape of River looks down and sees the girl eating chips. Looking at it made it hungry and being a very greedy Pokemon it decided to steal the chips. If they chase him, Zorua can get away and find his new trainer. Then all of the blames gets to be on him! Not only that, even if he is caught the blame goes back to him. Maybe being a tame Pokemon life is not that after all, thinks Zorua. Zorua lets out a small laugh and jumped down from the tree. Then she rushed over to snatch the chips whiles Katie wasn't looking. He look at her and let out a small laugh and then make a run for it.
