So Rays sister took care of him and herself while they lived on the streets of the Kanto region. They had a few rattata's and other pokemon help them out, but they both struggled to survive. They mostly had to steal food, and money to possibly get through the weeks. So growing up on the streets wasn't a very good thing. It made Ray homeless, skinny to the bone, and a thief. He grew only knowing how to steal, and even manners from his sister. Day after day, Ray and his sister would steal bread from the bakery, and milk from the market. It started to get boring after awhile, so Ray decided to start pick pocketing random people on the street, earning tons of cash. Though around 18 years old, Ray was caught and thrown in jail till he was 21 for breaking and entering into a persons home.
