| so now i know the truth Alright, she was off and away from that extremely creepy guy in the lab, thank Arceus. Spade had felt extremely uncomfortable around him, and she was glad to be away from that guy. If she really did, ever, need help, she would probably call the other Professor that was at the lab. With that guy being there, Spade had to wonder how was it that he was in charge of that kind of place. It just...didn't seem right to her. Shouldn't the lab and all its Pokemon be in the care of a worthy enough Professor? Anyways, she should really get on her way. What Pokemon would she meet as she travelled? Her new friend, Sphinx, was out and about of her Pokeball. Hopefully, they would run into a Pokemon that would be a good edition to her team. Spade was strangely excited for a change, usually she was extremely calm and quiet. The Shinx dashing around dove into the bushes, where she hoped to find a Pokemon to catch. behind the lies |

 Level: 5 Female Naughty Personality:Violent, Reckless, Random Moves:Growl, Charm, Metronome As Sphinx looked through the bushes, there was a Togepi peering from the trees just itching to pick a fight. So she jumped into the bushes as well as she began waggling her fingers. Wiggle waggle wiggle waggle, before an attack was created, Togepi began spinning quickly in her egg shell as a wheel of fire was born. Using this the Togepi made a straight dash at Sphinx in an attempt to burn the foe, or at least do some sort of damage to her opponent. There wasn't even a legitimate reason the Togepi was attacking, she just felt like fighting so she took the first opportunity she could get, coincidentally being against Spade and her Shinx, Sphinx. And that was all the reason needed to get into such a battle. |

| so now i know the truth Sphinx hadn't noticed the Togepi off and away to the side of the group, and she just began to sniff around the forest floor, trying to find a scent. When the Togepi came flying out of almost nowhere to where Sphinx was, the little cat jerked back with a yowl of surprise, which then turned to pain when the Togepi struck her with its Flame Wheel attack. The bush caught some sparks set off from the attack, and the bush was set on fire, alerting Spade. "What's going on?" She stepped closer, but before she made another step, her Shinx burst out of the bushes and swerved around, right in front of her trainer. The little cat, growled towards what was in the bushes, and Spade calmly looked over at the place as well, seeing what would appear. rivalry is in affect, Shinx has met a Pokemon of the same gender, so attack power is raised lvl 5 ability: Rivalry attacks: Tackle, Leer  behind the lies |

Level: 5 Female Naughty Personality:Violent, Reckless, Random Moves:Growl, Charm, Metronome So far so good, the Togepi hadn't even had to take a hit yet, while still in the bushes, the Togepi began to waggle again, wiggle waggle wiggle waggle, when the next attack was chosen. This time it was Rock Throw, a super effective attack, so Togepi picked up a rock before jumping in the air and chucking that sucker straight towards Sphinx, in hopes to hit it square on the head, when she fought she held nothing back and wouldn't stop for anything. It was probably useful she had a wild card like metronome on her though, or battles would get boring and would be much tougher. |

| so now i know the truth Oh what a bother Spade thought to herself as she saw the small egg-like Pokemon appear from out of the bush. Now what to do? Might as well catch it, besides it was rare, and would make a useful addition to her team, which only consisted of Sphinx at the moment. As the shard of rock flew in the air, Spade tried to give a quick command to dodge, but it was too late. The Shinx already made an attempt to get away instinctively, but that was no use. Tilting her head to the side though, the rock only shredded her ear, instead of actually beaning her in the head. With a yowl of pain and fury, Sphinx began to shake her head at the stinging from the blow. Then growled lowly at the Togekiss. Spade took that anger as a sign she should get a move on with an attack, "Alright, Sphinx, use Leer, then Tackle." First giving a dark glare at the Togepi, Sphinx tried to make herself as menacing as possible. Then pushing off with her hind legs, the small cat Pokemon made a headlong rush at the Togepi. rivalry is in affect, Shinx has met a Pokemon of the same gender, so attack power is raisedlvl 5 ability: Rivalry attacks: Tackle, Leer hit by: metronome (rock throw) SEused: tackle and leer behind the lies |

Level: 5 Female Naughty Personality:Violent, Reckless, Random Moves:Growl, Charm, Metronome  Finally she was taking attacks, it was almost refreshing after already wearing out Sphinx so much while remaining unscathed. "Hehe. Oh please, hit me again, it felt so good, that is if you can do it once more." She taunted the caninesque pokemon, it was rather oddly coloured in comparison to the rest of the shinxes, instead of the regular blue, Sphinx was covered in yellow fur. As Togepi waggled her fingers, the move was chosen and she made a dash towards the pokemon, this time Togepi had launched three sharp kicks at Sphinx in hopes to hit her right in the face. |

Togepi gotten tackled and it lets out a small moan in pain as it rolled across the ground. Picking up dirty and leaves as it rolled. Togepi rolled up and it Shinx that "Is that the best you can do look". Togepi then lets out a small mocking laugh. Toegepi little hands move left, right, left, and right. Togepi takes a deep breath whiles it quickly charges energy. The energy is bright orange with screeching noise. Then it releases the energy straight out in towards Shinx to cause massive damage. Togepi then breaths hard hard and clearly out of energy after that attack. Took a lot of it, but hopes to show that little Shinx that he is a much better Pokemon and much stronger! ooc: sure, it's gone! x) and lol you said that girl togepi's a guySo fast! The Shinx barely had time to react when the hyper beam appeared and was released. Sphinx's face took on a look of shock, but it was too late to do anything in retaliation. With a huge explosion of energy, Sphinx flew backwards and landed in a heap of orange fur. She was entirely spent, and out of energy. With a soft murmur of "sorry...sorry", she fainted. The soft sound actually made it to the girl's ears, and shd admitted defeat. Pulling out Sphinx's Pokeball, the girl recalled her Pokemon. "It's alright,"Looking at the Togepi, Spade had to give this Pokemon credit; it was extremely strong, and the move Metronome would be useful in battle. Alright, in one last attempt, Spade brought one of the Pokeballs the Professor had given her and hurled it at the Togepi at a high speed. Did she weaken it enough to catch it? The Pokemon had taken quite a hit from that tackle. lvl 5 ability: Rivalry attacks: Tackle, Leer hit by: metronome (hyperbeam) fainted! |

Togepi is out of breath after that last attack. Even though it attacks are random she still finds herself under it conditions. It fallen and landed on it lower back shell. Suddenly, it was hit by a red and white ball. A red light appeared and zipped the poor pokemon sucked in. The ball roll three times and clicked. Togepi has been capture!

Alright. She had caught the Togepi. When the ball had stopped its rapid movements, Spade walked over to it, and reached down to pick it up. She fingered the ball in her hand, thinking of all the trouble she had gone through to get the Togepi. But what was done was done, and now Spade had a new Pokemon on her team. This one would do a good job for fighting, if only its personality wasn't so..odd. "You're kind of odd for a Togepi. Your name is now Oddity." It was a weird name, but a name none-the-less. Spade pocketed her new Oddity, and continued along the path through the forest, looking out for what could be found. lvl 5 ability: Rivalry attacks: Tackle, Leer fainted! |

 Cacnea Male Level 5 Sand Veil Attacks: Poison Sting, Leer, Absorb Tinge of awesomeness: loves to glomp people and Pokemon. Sadly this cacnea was rather out of place here in the forest. His trainer had abandoned him after releasing the cactus Pokemon into the forest. Trying to follow the careless trainer he managed to end up in a smaller forested area in Cross village, which would end up crossing Spade's path. It had now long forgotten the concept of searching for his original trainer and was looking for anyone who would accept him, if he thought they were not careless by facing the new trainers' Pokemon. Though none had yet prevailed, he spotted the raven haired girl and jumped out at her in an attempt to glomp her. He also wanted a more personal relationship with his trainer so he would know they would not betray him. |

As Spade walked along her path, her mind was wrapped around the fact that there seemed to be a chance for her to catch Pokemon. Her Shinx was out of the picture, and needed Sphinx needed her rest anyways, the small cat deserved that much for such a hard battle. Oddity was just...well, odd. Spade wasn't sure she wanted to use the spontaneous Pokemon just yet, and besides, the Togepi was not in the best of shape right now. Despite Sphinx losing the battle, the Togepi had taken quite a bit of damage. As Spade weighed her options, she decided that she would have to head towards the pokemon center in the village. Sighing to herself in frustration, she had hoped that she would be able to stay in the woods for longer, but that didn't seem like the case. As she hurried towards the village, she hadn't spotted the Cacnea behind her, or noticed its existence until she felt spikes digging into her back. Reaching backwards, she tried to pry whatever was on her back off, and made a motion to toss whatever had been on her back onto the ground in front of her. "Ouch! What the hell?" |

Cacnea Male Level 5 Sand Veil Attacks: Poison Sting, Leer, Absorb Tinge of awesomeness: loves to glomp people and Pokemon. "Hello! I'm Cacnea! How do you do?" Cacnea introduced himself to Spade. It wanted to have a new trainer but of course he would have to test her meddle. "I wish to battle you. Battawl battawl battawl!" At this point in time, if the Cacnea actually had a tongue it would be sticking out the side of his mouth comically but it didn't, therefore couldn't do so. So Cacnea sat there awaiting Spade's answer, staring her in the eyes. |
