Ray finally got his first pokemon, and it was an Eevee. It basically can evolve into 7 different pokemon, so that was going to be a hard decision for Ray in the future. The Eevee was curled onto of his head, her nuzzle stuffed into his dark blue spiked hair. It was nice to have something cuddle on you, heart warming. Though Ray wasn't that sort of person, but he guessed he could make an exception for this little Eevee. Now he just had to ride another ferry to get to the Cross village, how wonderful. Sighing he walked on board and sat down on the nearest bench on the side of the ferry so he could enjoy the fresh night air blowing in his face.
The ferry fired up, rocking a little before the rowing paddles moved it towards the village on the other side. Eevee was still asleep, though Ray was getting tried himself. Maybe he could stay the night in a small motel, and start his journey in the morning. About 10 minutes passed by and the ferry finally docked for the night, and Ray walked down the ramp towards the village. The village was silent, but glowed with fire all around. It was a beautiful site, and Ray wanted to stay there and stare at it forever, but his tiredness took over and urged him to the closest motel.
Walking through the village there weren't very many motels around, except for a very small one just for travelers. Ray walked in and noticed a sign said it was free to any trainers or pokemon travelers. How lucky for him, so the man at the front desk asked for a trainer card and Ray showed him of course, before the man handed him the #2 room key.
Getting into his room, he placed his bag on the floor and pulled Eevee off his head, setting her on the edge of the bed. Ray stripped his shirt and pants off, so he'd be more comfortable. Finally Ray got to lay down and rest for the night. ~Next Morning~ The sun shone through the windows, waking up both Ray and Eevee. Both stretching they hopped up, but Ray pulled his clothes back on and grabbed his bag. "Ready to go Eevee?" Eevee jumped up in joy and ran out the door once Ray opened it. Now Ray and Eevee were making their way to a close by restaurant, hoping to run into a wild pokemon, or weak trainer.

There was man in a rather strange looking outfit. Shiny metal pieces down the back, and all around his long baggy sleeves. A hate that looked similar to a magnet and also colored with red and blue spots. And of course he was ranting on about electromagnetic currents and random other babbalings about the end of the world. His purple eyes soon darted to the man across the street. A eevee on his head, the end of the world. All living things will die, he must try to save all the pokemon he can. Especially the eevee, they were the most adopt pokemon of all and would one day rise to be a god. "YOU THERE! GIVE ME YOUR POKEMON SO I CAN SAVE THE WORLD!" the male yelled loudly as he threw his pokeball releasing his Sunkern from it's pokeball.  LVL 5 ABSORB || GROWTH || INGRAIN  |

An odd man jumped out of no where, with even more odd looking clothes. It took all of Ray to hold back a laugh, but he still seemed to have an escaped chuckle. Next thing he knew, the man was yelling about saving the world, and wanting Ray to give him his Eevee. Ray really laughed out this time, and saw a small plant pokemon was ready to battle him. "Alright have it your way. Let's go eevee, sand attack! Eevee jumped down from his head and ran at the Sunkern, before turning around, and kicking dirt and sand towards the Sunkern's eyes. The small yellow sunflower seed gave a loud cry as the sand was flicked into its eyes. It had stung like hell, sand in the eye was never fun for anything. It's eyes was watering rather badly now blurring its vision. The pokemon started to bounce and spin around trying to remove the specs from it's soaked orbs. In it's painful rage it started to spin around and fire off a red laser using its Absorb attack. The attack was rather wild and was sent in the general direction hoping the attack would land. The little seed thing spun out of control once Eevee used her sand attack on it. It must really like sand in its eyes. As it was spinning, a red laser shot out as it seemed to use absorb. Now it was a perfect time to test out Eevee's speed. "Eevee jump up towards Sunkern and use tail whip!" Of course the Tail Whip landed. it couldn't really see anything, and was kind of just flailing around wildly at the moment, so the Sunkern couldn't exactly dodge. It felt kind of like a little tickle, a little tickle that made it giggle some. So it was only going to tickle it? Then it guessed that it didn't have too much to worry about, after all! It's defense sufficiently lowered, it thought that maybe it should attack again? Course, it still couldn't see, but still. It launched it's lasers again, trying for another Absorb. The Sunkern again used the absorb, but this time it actually hit eevee. It absorbed some of her strength, making her a bit weaker, but she was still strong enough to fight. Ray smirked, as the Sunkern was blind, and its defense was low. "Alright Eevee, use Tackle!" Eevee pushed herself off the ground with her paws, and came right at the Sunkern with a tackle. The attack hit like a ton of bricks. The Sunkern fell, landing heavily on it's side. It twitched for a moment, then managed to pull itself back off the ground. With a angry "Kern!" it tried to use it's Absorb on the Eevee once again. If it hit, it would help heal it some! Sunkern || Level 5 || Early Bird Absorb || Growth || Ingrain  |

Eevee was hit again, though not as hard this time. Eevee stood up and yelled at the sunkern, possibly cussing at it. "eeveee!!" Ray smirked at eevee, and already knew what attack she was going to do. Eevee dug her paw into the ground and charged at the Sunkern with a tackle. Her adaptability ability activated, making her tackle stronger because it was the same type as her. Ah, yes. The Sunkern was certainly weakened by the attack that it couldn't dodge. But that attack knocking it out? Even in it's weaken sate, with that extra damage done, not quite. Pretty close, but no cigar yet. In some last ditch effort it couldn't explain, the plant Pokemon sprouted yellow roots and nestled them into the ground; an Ingrain attack. It sucked in a bit of health from the ground, but it was pretty vulnerable. Sunkern || Level 5 || Early Bird Absorb || Growth || Ingrain  |

Ray clinched his fists at this sunkern. He had to say it must have really good defense, considering that eevee used tail whip, and its adaptability strengthen its tackle. Though it was still pretty weakened and one more attack would do. "Eevee run around the sunkern and tackle it from behind!" Eevee nodded her head and ran around the sunkern as fast as she could, kicking up dust and dirt as she went. Once she was ready to get the sunkern, Eevee jumped out from the dust and dirt and headed to tackle the sunkern from behind. Alas, the Sunkern couldn't move or attempt to dodge since it was rooted to the ground. The Tackle hit like a ton of bricks, knocking it over and even ripping or breaking a few of it's roots. It fell back, unconscious and fainted. Sunkern || Level 5 || Early Bird Absorb || Growth || Ingrain  Sunkern has Fainted. Eevee gain 1 level |

Ray smirked and took the 500 pokedollars from the weird guy, and decided to treat him and eevee to something nice. "Come on Eevee, lets go get you something nice!" Eevee waged her tail and climbed on top of his head, resting from her battle. There wasn't much shops, but luckily there was a clothing store. Ray looked up at eevee and noticed she was asleep. He smirked and went inside. A light red scarf caught his eye, which would be perfect for eevee. Ray looked around before stuffing it into the pocket of his skinny jeans. Ray ran out of the store as quickly as he could, before the clerk noticed the scarf was gone. Ray laughed and headed back to the motel he was staying at, since it was starting to get quite dark.
