Stars shined brightly overhead, along with the big beautiful red moon. It made Kat's heart fluttered with the beauty, as she curled up under her jacket, as Blaze slept outside so she wouldn't burn down the tent. Sighing, she finally closed her eyes as she fell asleep. The night pokemon game out, and started making all sorts of noise which waked up Kat a lot. She finally got some rest once dawn broke through the horizon. After about an hour, Blaze nudged her awake, which meant the tent was on fire. "BLAZE!!!" Grabbing her jacket and bag, Kat ran out of the burning tent as quickly as she could. She glared at Blaze angrily, before stuffing her jacket back into her bag. Kat yawned tiredly and walked over to River, give him a long hard shake. "Hey its morning.. time to go!" Kat huffed and waited for River to wake up.

Ray slowly woke up and stretch out a bit. Letting out a small yawn as stood up and picked up his jacket. Ray puts his jacket into the bookbag of his which carries all of the other stuff of his. Ray reached back into his bag and grabbed his mirror and comb. Spending a few moments getting his hair-do up. Once he finish, Ray reached into his bag and grabbed his sunglasses and put them on. Ray looks over and see Katie tent was burnt down. "Wow, how stupid can you be in letting a fire type Pokemon out all night?" Ray then padded himself down and notice his neck is a little stiff. He had slept against a tree and it's not the most comfortable thing.
Ray then got an idea to tease Katie. "You didn't by any chance do anything to me whiles I was sleeping, did you? I don't you want you claim it was an 'accident' again."

Kat watched River out of the corner of her eye as he woke up. He looked over to her tent, and of course made a smart remark making her blush with angry, then he even mentioned if she did anything to him in his sleep. The nerve! "I left Blaze out because shes my best friend and likes being out of her pokeball. You keep your charmander all cramped up! And!! I'd never do anything to you, even in your damn dreams." Kat huffed and started walking to Big Root Town, Blaze beside her. Hopefully they could run into some pokemon to level up even more.

"I'll make sure to call the Rangers if one of these days your Pontya cause a forest fire." Looks like his plan worked out, he had gotten her ticked off with his comment. "You tried to do something last night! Flying at me like and the next thing I know I am.. Never mind." Might be going to far with that next comment so he kept it to himself. Plus, don't want her to pissed off with him since he is traveling with her. Ray gave some thought on the Charmander comment, River would lke to bring out his Charmander, Rex out. However, he didn't want things to get burnt down. Not to much else to do, but to move on. "Following you I guess...

In the nearby bushes rested a Scyther. His claws newly sharped and had just managed to put himself to sleep in the most comfortable bush. It was rather nice until he heard some people talking which made him pissed off. The sound of his rather sharp claws made when they dragged against the nearby rock sounded like nails on a chalkboard right beside your ears. As soon as the Scyther stood up it was tripped by a togepi. And this started a chase which would lead towards the two humans with violent attacks from the Scyther. A psyduck managed to get hit and sent flying towards the female. The sun rose further into the sky, and warmed Kat's skin a tad. She was heading towards Big Root Town with Blaze beside her, and River following close behind. Only thing she didn't know was the fact that a Psyduck was heading straight for her. Kat turned her head, and was hit right in the face, and thrown back into Blaze. The psyduck shook its head, before waddling off very quickly, "What the..." Kat rubbed her face, and this time saw a Togepi heading her way this time, with a.. weird pokemon with blades as hands. Kat figured it was chasing the poor little pokemon, and picked up the Togepi when it came closer. "Blaze use ember on that green pokemon!" Blaze stepped up, and her blue flames lit up, as she opened her mouth to shot out tiny flames at the Scyther.  Blaze (Ponyta) Level 10.5 Growl| Tackle| Tail Whip| Ember |

Scyther Male || Level 9 || Swarm Quick Attack || Vaccum Wave || Pursuit || Focus Energy || Leer  hit by ember used vacuum wave on ponyta Psyduck Male || Level 9 || Cloud Nine Water Sprout || Scratch || Water Gun || Tail Whip used water gun on ponyta Togepi Female || Level 7 || Serene Grace Growl|| Charm || Metronome safely in kat's arms As Scyther ran after the togepi it was stopped when he was hit with the small blue flames, fitting of the blue flames on her body. Now there was two options for him, going after the Pokemon that tripped him first or the one that sprayed fire at him, this wasn't exactly a hard choice. The Scyther then spun around after a little jump in the air and while hovering, slashed his arms in an X-formation which in turn fired off a wave of fighting type energy towards Blaze the Ponyta Obviously the Psyduck had been confused as it got the idea that Kat and her pokemon were the ones to hurt him, he then opened his mouth as a jet of water was shot at Blaze which yet again obviously was super effective against the fire type horse. Meanwhile the Togepi sat safely in Kat's arms out of harms way as she watched the pokemon step into battle |

The Psyduck came back, and apparently though Kat and Blaze attacked him. The Scyther used an X like attack, that was aimed at Blaze. "Hurry, Dodge it! Run around Scyther in a circle as fast as you can, then use ember!" Blaze jumped out of the way and started to run around the Scyther so fast, that all it would be able to see was a big blue fire wall all around it. Blaze used ember as she ran behind the Scyther. Though Blaze was soon hit with a water gun, making her extremely weaker. Blaze was knocked down, but she slowly got up and was still willing to fight. Kat growled softly, and grabbed Jet's pokeball. She threw it in the air, Jet use Sonic boom on Psyduck!" Jet nodded and clapped her paws together hard enough to make a sonic boom, that was heading towards Psyduck. Ray could no longer stand there and watch. Katie was just trying to help them and things started to turn into a huge mess. Ray raises his Pokeball up and pressed the middle button. Making the ball increase in size. Then, Ray tosses his ball to release Machop! Machop came out of his ball. Ponyt attack had landed on Scyther! However, he still have some energy left over, but very little to keep going. The sonic boom attack had hit Mark, but the Psyduck still willing and ready to fight! "Alright Cho, use Thunder Punch on Psyduck!" Machop charge at the Psyduck and use his fist full of thunder to it's stomach! Meanwhile, Ray wasn't planning to let the Scyther get away as it is a rare Pokemon in the wild. Ray throws one of his Pokeballs to catch him! It was true Scyther was taking some pretty hard hits and was now panting as it grew tired from battling. But it wasn't out just yet, Scyther then charged at the Machop at quite the high speed with its Quick attack. But just as he finished his attack the dragonic insect was hit with a Pokeball, the ball shaking on the ground, one, two, three, and he was caught by Ray, who knew if Katinie wanted it but it was too late for that now. Then(whether qa hits or not) Psyduck was blindsided by the Thunder Punch as it spun through the air. Trying to get up, it still felt tingly from the electric charge but it was good to go and sprayed another jet of water at Blaze. Finally the Togepi had become a little restless and began to waggle its fingers in Kats arms, as they moved back and forth, the move was randomized and selected. This one was a good old fashioned Zap cannon, so as the fingers stopped moving, and a ball of electricity was formed and shot at Kat's Buizel. Scyther is caught, one level to the pokemon who fought it Psyduck  Togepi ![]() full |

Kat gasped as Blaze was hit again, and this time she fainted. Kat ran to her and stroked her neck, "You did good, I'm sorry." Kat returned her back into the pokeball and sent out Poison this time. "Poison,use pound on Psyduck!" Poison nodded and ran at the Psyduck with quick speed, and aimed a pound to its head. Meanwhile, the Topegi seemed to get excited and sent a electric ball at Jet. "Jet, use quick attack and dodge the electric ball, then use Sonic boom on Psyduck!" Jet used quick attack to dodge the ball, which was now heading straight for Psyduck. Jet got an idea, and clapped her paws together to make a massive sonic boom, that hit the ball and made it comes towards the Psyduck even faster! Ray walked over to the Pokeball and picked it up. Ray puts the ball safely into his pocket. Machop had been hit pretty hard, but nothing seriously. Still fixed with energy and ready to go, Chop gave his trainer the thumbs up. Ray nodded and he give orders to his Pokemon. "Alright Machop, give Psyduck a Thunderpunch to back up Katie Pokemon!" Chou nodded in approval and charged his fist to make contact with Psyduck whiles Treecko and Buize attacks landed at the same time. The Psyduck then gotten sent flying out into the distance. "Well, kinda feel bad, outnumbering him like that." Ray lifts his ball and put Cho back into his ball. Then Ray made his way to the next town! Machop Health Psyduck fainted. |

Kat sighed happily and snuggled the togepi and decided to let it join her. She pulled out an empty pokeball and touched Togepi gently with it. Togepi was sucked inside, and as Kat waited, she returned Poison & Jet back into their pokeballs. Kat smiled and thought after this, they would be in Big root town, where their first gym waits!
