Inoko was almost on her way out of town when she heard someone was giving out cash for knowing facts about pokemon, this was perfect, she was low on cash and this was a rather nice sum she had heard about. Three questions correct and she could get one thousand dollars, that was insane! But who was she to judge, extorting money from the poor soul stupid enough to do such a thing. As she walked into the building rumoured to house the fool she spoke aloud. "I'm here to do the quiz! Who is the one who gives the questions? Lay'em on me!" She just really wanted to get the money and leave as soon as possible and maybe extort money out of someone else, maybe screw a guy out of money in a battle.

The quiz master has an expensive wood desk and sits in a computer chair. On top of the desk is posters to tell new trainers about him. Plus, some hall in fame trainers who has managed to get all three of them correct on their first try. Which is not many at all really. The master shuffles some cards and some rude girl come up and asking who is the quiz master. "That would be me young lady." The quiz master dressed in a quiz master outfit that is very colorful and his face is hard to see. "Let start, shall we? Question one, what Pokemon type is considered as the best Pokemon type overall? Question two, my fur is grayish black and red accent. I am dark type Pokemon. Who am I? Last question, I eat grass, rare in the wild, I am very bloodthirsty and disorderly. Who am I?"

Well this was the quiz master, he looked like an odd fellow but she wasn't here to judge, she was here to make some cold hard cash off the guy. The first question was quite broad, the best pokemon type overall, huh? That must mean it has the highest base stats of all the pokemon. The second question was a description of a physical appearance but the last one was rather tricky as it told very little about the pokemon but what it ate but not impossible. "I think I've got the answers. The answer to the first question is Dragon types, the second would be Zorua, and is the third one Tauros? The last one was the one she chose out of pretty similar pokemon, the other being Bouffalant, but now she just had to hope she made the right choice.

The quiz master claps his hands and ring the bell for the young lad. "Congrats, you have answered all of the questions correctly and on your first time! That is saying more than comparable to others. However, there is no bonus for that." The quiz does a thing with his hand and does another clap. He opens his hands and reveal the money to the trainer. "Here ya go!"

So she was ranked among the higher intelligences that had taken this test before, honestly this didn't surprise her one bit, she had always known a fair bit about Pokemon but had been trying to learn even more now that she was attempting to gather people around the new region to form a crime syndicate known as the Nekurahi. A group that searched for rare Pokemon and stole strong Pokemon from other trainers. But for now she was on her own and that was fine, she didn't need to attract attention as of now, she was still carrying rather weak Pokemon. So before she left she took the 1000 pd from the man and exited the building. Seeing as there was still quite a few people out though it was getting a bit late out. Though she enjoyed the night life more than the day. Hey! Any of you up for a battle?! So much for not attracting attention, but at least it wasn't bad attention. Though there were some pretty sketchy people out of night, and you couldn't say she was not on of them.

A young male overheard the call about a battle, a smile coming to his face as he looke for who it was. The youngster ran in the direction of who he saw it was from, swerving between people to get where he wanted. Where he came out of was the entrance of the building that did quizzes, skidding to a stop. "The names Kevin. I heard you wanted to battle," he said, taking out a pokeball and releasing the pokemon that was inside. The small, furry ferret shook itself, soon standing on tail, ready for battle.

She called as from under her hat flew a pokemon that looked reminiscent of a horseshoe crab with red eyes. It was a rather rare prehistoric pokemon, like how most of her team consisted of what could be rare pokemon. Riolu was already rare but this one, on top of that was silver, a one of a kind. Then there was her Pawniard, which where she was right now would be hard to find, a treecko who was also rare, the kabuto, and the one common pokemon, Spinarak. Soon after appearing, Kabuto then attempted to scratch the Sentret with his many legs under the main shell or body. She had actually had the pokemon in her hat this whole time, starting moments before she had heard about the quiz master when she wanted to battle then but thought it would be better to make cash the easy way. Though if she wanted to she could, she didn't think that this kid's pokemon would be one worth stealing. But if he had any other better pokemon, she would have nothing against pulling a gun out of her leather jacket's pocket, putting it to his head and taking it by force. |

The boy had sent out his challenge and heard the girl accept his request.What the kid didn't expect was the fact a fossil pokemon had just jumped the hell out of her hat and down onto the ground starting to charge toward his Sentret. The pokemon quickly used defense curl, protecting himself from a critical hit on it's tail. It soon retaliated by bouncing back then flinging itself forward with help of it's tail giving a quick horizontal sweep of its short claws. Kabuto As the Sentret came at the Kabuto the shellfish Pokemon tried to scurry out of the way but was hit with the scratch attack launched at him. It was rather annoying but something that had to be dealt with quietly by himself, nobody liked a whiner after all. Now it was his turn to retaliate, with some concentration Kabuto's shell glowed blue for a second and sharply increased his defenses. Then it was time to take the offensive with their own scratch attack aimed at the tail, tas this logically seemed to be what it's weak point was. It wasn't very well protected and was quite large, not exactly what you would call a breakthrough in evolution of the species. |

"Kabuto, do it again, I think I've got something that will help you but I need to see it again." She asked of her prehistoric pokemon as she tried to analyze the situation more carefully, as it seemed that Sentret really didn't like getting its tail hit. Maybe it provided the centre of gravity for the rodent or was rather sensitive to pain there like Goku was as a kid in Dragon Ball. Yes she was an anime nerd too, go figure. Holly then allowed her shell to shine blue again and raised her defences before aiming another flurry of scratches from its legs at Sentret's tail again. |

The sentret was starting to get rater anger at the little ugly pokemon messing up her tail fur. Jumping down onto her paws, she ran out towards the kabuto, though her big tail was slowing her down, she still raced towards. Her claws extended and glowed white as she threw herself at the Kabuto, and was aiming her scratch at him. But in an attempt to get at her tail or precious underbelly, he used the momentum from her scratch to launch his own at her. At least his defense was high and he didn't have a blaringly obvious weak spot like that big poof's fuzzy tail. Not to mention a tail would look ridiculous on a shellfish in the first place, at least a furry one would. |

The small pokemon had managed to land what seemed to be a weak hit. It couldn't understand why the attack didn't work but it didn't matter. As the small big tailed pokemon went to attack again it was hit almost directly in the gut. It had let out a cry of pain before being thrown back a bit. Soon enough it was back and standing ready for a fight. It quickly rolled up into a fetal position and used defense curl. So she allowed the shine to cover her shell again soon after he took a hit from the Sentret's Scratch. The Kabuto flew back a bit but was still able to fight, though getting a but worn out from taking these hits. But in any case he still went all out by jumping into the air in front of where the Sentret would see the moon's light in an attempt to scratch at the rodent's eyes. |
