Kyo and Amy entered the shaded forest and the general air about it was uneasy. It certainly didn't take long until he started to feel like he was being watched. He motioned Amy to stay close to him so they wouldn't get lost and unable to find each other. They kept on advancing into the forest until he heard nearby footsteps. "Who's there?" Kyo called out, unable to see between the trees. |

Belle let Teal fly around as she decided to climb up a tree to rest there for awhile, if there were any pokemon that wanted to fight--well they would have to be in the tree to actually find her. Teal landed on the branch that was inches from her before hopping to her shoulder to nestle into her neck, Belle giggled by tickling feeling that the feathers gave against her skin.
She hummed a song to Teal as she continued sitting in the tree, Teal whistling so her tune every so often. When it came time to get moving on their journey they had to leave the safety of the tree, "lets go Teal, we got a long journey ahead of us....." Teal chirped it it's approval, even though it felt a bit sad that they had to leave--then again they would probably have to make camp soon as well considering it was almost night.
Belle jumped from the tree when Teal flew off her shoulder, she landed with a soft thud before Teal flew down to rest on her shoulder again, and she was off running with Teal clawing into her skin for dear life. Belle was about almost halfway in run when someone called out, "who's there?" She turned toward the direction, "just your average pokemon ranger passing through" she said going through the bushes to find the voice that spoke to her, and when she did she was surprised it was another ranger.
Belle looked at him with a bit of shock, it was days since she left the lab and now she was seeing another pokemon ranger in front of her, she smiled before speaking. "my apologies, I should introduce myself a bit more formally to another ranger.... I'm Belle Wolffang, I'm new to the ranger stuff, but I'm doing my for now--this is my partner swablu, though I call him Teal." Teal gave a cute whistle in response to Belle's introduction as he righted himself on her shoulder making sure to be ready when she ran again.

Amy called out "Squirtle~" to Teal in a girlish manner as a way to joyfully say hello to Teal in a friendly manner. "I am Kyo Yukihana, and this is my companion Amy. She's a Squirtle. Right now, it's just us. We just came from the Poke Lab just outside of the forest. It's a great pleasure to meet you Belle." Kyo said, introducing himself and shaking her hand very respecfully. It would appear that he would be really easy to get along with in this forest. "Would it be okay if we teamed up with you until we get to the nearest town?" He asked her politely in hopes of gaining her approval. |

Teal acknowledged Amy with a whistle and a sing song hello as he flew off Belle's shoulder and flew around Amy talking to her, Belle watched with a smile at the cuteness of the two conversing, but she looked back at the fellow Ranger named Kyo. He shook her hand in a formal manner, which she wasn't very use to, but let it slide, when he asked if him and Amy could travel with them to the next town--Belle nodded.
"There's been some trouble around here, so I think it would be best, who knows maybe we might stumble upon some trouble. Two Rangers are better than one they say" Belle stated as Teal continued to fly around Amy head talking to her, when he became tired he decided to land in front of Amy continuing his conversation, whatever he was talking about Belle didn't know, but he seemed really enthusiastic.

Kyo relieved that she accepted his request, and he was glad that Amy and Teal were getting along very well. Amy even danced like a ballerina when Teal flew over her head. This short time of peace was really good for Kyo and he was really happy. "I'm glad I'm joining you because I need to build a team of my own. Thank you Belle." Kyo said very thankfully, but then was alerted to bush moving violently. "Amy, something's coming." Kyo said to his Squirtle, and she hurried to Kyo in hopes of assisting him.

An ekans was curled up, fast asleep when something had bumped into him. He blinked open is eyes and slithered his tongue out annoyed. Ekans moved towards the boy and was wrapped its self around his leg.  Ekans|| level 6||Male Timid|| Shed skin Wrap||leer||poison sting  |

Belle nodded as she heard the noise as well and she looked around trying to find the source before she looked down at Kyo's leg, "whatever you do.... Don't panic" she said as she knelt down, she was trying for the best way to get ekans off, "now what could I use to get you off.... I don't think you want to really hurt anyone now do you ekans?"
Teal was still sitting on her shoulder a bit nervous as to what Ekans might try, but he was ready for anything even attacking the Ekans if it were to try to harm his partner. Belle reached cautiously to Ekans, "come here Ekans, I think I have some tasty pokemon food for you to try if you want, all you have to do is uncurl yourself from his leg okay?" Belle used the voice she always used against a pokemon to soothe it away, she didn't want to catch nor harm it as they seemed to disturb it's home or something.

Although he was scared out of his wits and dearly hoped that Ekans wouldn't use it's Poison Sting. If it did, he would surely die if he didn't get an antidote. He watched Belle attempt to get Ekans off of him while he kept his heartbeat slow and steady. If Kyo even moved or freaked out, the serpent would surely take his life. Amy held her ground, waiting for the right moment to attack the Ekans. Meanwhile, Kyo invested all his faith and trust into Belle because a single move from Kyo would be a high risk. |

Ekans hissed as he girl came closer. Though he got a whiff of the bird on her shoulder, and started drolling slighty. It uncurled its self from the boys leg, and attacked the bird on the womans shoulder, by ramming it into the ground, and wrapping its self around the Swablus wings and hissing slighty. Both Kyo and Amy knew that they needed to do something to weaken the Ekans or distract it from Teal. "Tackle Enkas, Amy." Kyo said calmly to his partner, instructing her to only focus on the snake. If he could weaken Enkas enough, he could add Enkas to his ranks. After all, he wouldn't get very far with just one Pokemon. Amy tackled only Enkas in an effort to free Teal. Ekans hissed in fustration as the Swablu pecked him off. Then followed by a tackle from the odd colored Squirtle. Ekans opened its mouth, long sharp fangs and aimed for a bite at the Squirtle, as he prepared a poison sting. Amy screamed when she was bit by Ekans, and Kyo could understand how much pain she was in. "Amy, fight through it and attack him." Kyo coaxed her and she went right after the Ekans, even though she was in great pain. In truth, Kyo did worry about her health, but he didn't have anything to relieve her of the poison at the moment. Ekans was tackled onto the ground again, but that was exactly what he wanted. Ekans wrapped itself around the squirtle, and squeezed it hard, trying to make it give up the fight and become Ekans feast. Ekans|| level 6||Male Timid|| Shed skin Wrap||leer||poison sting  ((uses Wrap on Squirtle)) |
