He doesn't seem to notice much, keeping to himself a little because of this. Being the way that he is, its hard for others to accept him, and his self-confidence is fairly low because of it. Devlyn isn't sure as to what would happen because of how he is, seeing that its rare as to who likes him otherwise. Devlyn likes the quiet atmosphere of being alone, or even beingwith pokemon, because he knows he's not being judged for anything. Its soothing to him, and he likes the fact that he can be alone. Devlyn would rather be like this most of the time, he doesn't mind trying to deal with others when its necessary for it. Things are tough on him, but he knows how to deal with some of it when it comes to it. But deep down, things are unnaturally hidden, like the fact that he wants to get back at those who made fun of him. Or just be a nuissance to those who need it. Something about being laughed at seems to have made it impossible for him to actually because more of a malicious character, wanting nothing to do with others when it comes to it. Having been hurt for so long, its hard to say that he wants the love that some would like to give him. It was gonna be a lot of work, especially when he wasn't able to understand all that well. But that didn't stop his growth, Devlyn learning well withwhat he was able to understand and get through what he was able to do. Especially when he was around pokemon. Nothing stopped him from that, and it was nice that his parents had even been retired pokemon trainers too. As Devlyn grew, it became known that many of the kids in the neighborhood didn't seem to understand that he was different, and made fun of him. And with that, Devlyn became withdrawn from going outside, having soon sought out actually doing homeschooled so hewouldn't worry about the other kids. Its been all through the time that he dealt with it, and he knew that it was going to be hard. He grew up with all the name calling and things like that, making him less apt to actually think that anyone would want him, besides maybe pokemon and his parents. Things started changing for him, which led him to have his personality at the point it was, and leading him to, over time, think about heading to a different region, which was Kuro.
