The journey had begun for Zane, having acquired the Pokemon known as Bagon from the professor, now he found himself traveling on one of the many routes around the region. His destination? Unknown at the time, though he did need to find more Pokemon. So he hoped that perhaps he could find one in the area. Eventually he made his way into the forest, a perfect place for a beginner like him to capture some pokemon. Zane made his way through some bushes while Bagon sauntered along behind him, not being the type of Pokemon who enjoyed being in its Pokeball more than it needed to be.
Zane searched the forest here and there, though, his presence must of scared any wild pokemon away. He hadn't even seen a trainer in the area he was, which was abnormal, as he figured people similar to him just had to be out searching for Pokemon, or methods of training via battles. It was baffling, but none the less, the crimson clad man decided to take a break. He took a seat at the base of a tree, shading himself from the sun. Though it was late, it was still quite humid out. He remained seated for a bit, stretching out on the ground while Bagon stayed in the area.
"So you are my new partner.." Zane stated as Bagon looked at him, as if the creature understood his words. Zane simply cracked a smirk. "I think you fall into my plans quite nicely." He realized Bagon was a dragon type, which were a subset of Pokemon fabled for their strength.. That was exactly what he was looking for, and he was more than ready to work to gain that strength. Just as he had gotten lost in thought, he heard a rustling in the bushes. But was it the wind, a pokemon, a trainer, or something else entirely? [/blockquote]

A turtwig watched from the bushes, as a trainer and his pokemon walked through the woods. It watched with its round eyes, blinking a few times and decided to follow to, wondering what they were up to. After following them for awhile, they stopped and the man sat down and started speaking to Bagon. Turtwig wanted to be with someone like that.. but he wasn't just gonna hand himself over. Turtwig burst out of the bushes, and used a tackle at Bagon. Turtwig|| Level 3|| Male Brave|| Overgrow Tackle ((Uses Tackle))

The Turtwig launched from the bushes, and Zane reacted rather quickly to alert his Bagon to the events unfolding. "Bagon! MOVE!" He demanded in a stern voice as the startled Pokemon leapt into action, although it was sideswiped by the attack, the dragon type was gifted with some strength. Bagon was more than capable of taking a move like that.
Bagon pulled itself up, the range between it and the Turtwig quite close together after the physical attack of a tackle. Of course Zane moved directly into a position where he could bark the orders for Bagon thoroughly. He had a very stern style that Bagon seemed to adhere to quite nicely, for such a new trainer and team mate pairing.. They seemed to have a bit of an understanding of one another. "Quick, while it's in range. Use bite!" Another command from its trainer, as Bagon immediately leapt into action, attempting to catch the enemy creature with its sharp fangs. Zane watched closely, ready to command his Pokemon to make another move, should that one be a failure. [/blockquote] Bagon||Level 5||Male Hasty||Rock Head Rage||Bite

The turtwigs shell was bitten into by the bagon, making him whine in pain. Turtwig wiggled from its grip, and raced towards the bagon again, the air around it forming as it got ready for another tackle. Turtwig|| Level 3|| Male Brave|| Overgrow Tackle ((Uses Tackle))

Bagon seemed to connect with its bite, causing the Pokemon to wince. Suddenly the little creature got free and went for another tackle. Zane just cracked a smirk, as he saw that as a dumb move. A mistake if you will. But once again his Bagon was caught with the move due to the close range.
"Bagon, back off!" Suddenly Bagon leapt back, putting some distance between both itself and the enemy creature. That's when Zane quickly reach into his backpack, and threw a Pokeball at the Turtwig. Zane watched closely, hoping that this would work. While Turtwig wasn't like Bagon, he did see some potential there. And he needed another Pokemon added to his ranks, desperately.
None the less, he waited with pure anticipation to see what would happen next. While Bagon waited, ready to launch another assault on the Pokemon should the attempt to capture it fail.

Zane walked over once the Pokeball had stopped moving and picked it up. Bagon followed behind him as they gazed at it, then he pushed the button, allowing the Turtwig to exit its new home. Turtwig seemed to be a happy little scamp, the little Pokemon walked up to him as he gazed down upon it. "Guess you're with me now.." Zane said as he sprayed a potion on it to heal its wounds it had earlier received.
"Now lets see what else we can find around here." Zane said as he hit the button on the pokeball, retracting Turtwig back into it. Bagon quickly moved up beside of him and the two of them walked through some bushes. This was the direction the Turtwig had came prior to the capture, so he figured that was the best route. Zane strolled along, coming across a small stream of water where the Pokemon likely got themselves drinks in the forest.
"Good of a place as any to find pokemon or other trainers.." He said to Bagon who made a noise in response. One would believe he had to find another opportunity for training in this area. He just had to. [/blockquote]

A little boy walked around in the forest, looking for pokemon to battle and capture. His two pokemon followed him around, as they searched for small bug pokemon that they could easily beat. Still looking, the boy bumped into a man twice his size. He got angry and yelled at him, "Watch where you're going old man!" The boy snarled, spitting all over the mans shirt, and sent his to pokemon to battle. Zane walked around the forest a little bit, in search of an opponent. And that was just when he was bumped into by a brat. The brat had a rather bad attitude, spitting in the direction of Zane. Zane's shirt was hit with it, as the red hatted man sighed in response. The kid yelled for the so called old man to watch where he was going.. ".. Annoying little imbecile." The boys Houndour and Rattata moved in front of him, as Zane simply rolled his eyes. He then signaled for Bagon to move in front of him, and let his Turtwig he had just recently captured out of its Pokeball.
The Rattata and Houndour immediately began their attack with the Houndour launching a Ember wildly while the Rattata rushed in for a quick attack. "Bagon, take the Ember! Turtwig, dodge the Rattata by propeling yourself into the air.. NOW!" Bagon immediately hopped in front of the Ember that was headed in the direction of Turtwig, taking the blast. Though being a dragon time, it wasn't nearly as effected by the assault as a Pokemon like Turtwig would of been. The Rattata skillfully rushed around both Pokemon, attempting to assault the Turtwig from behind. But Turtwig hopped upwards into the air, and the Rattata's speed was its downfall as it completely missed the mark.
"Bagon, bite Rattata! Turtwig, tackle it as soon as it gets free!" Suddenly as Rattata attempted to rush away, Bagon brought its fangs right down into the back of the small rat pokemon, causing it to let out a loud screech. "Rattata! Houndour, hit Bagon with an ember! The trainer boy yelled in an attempt to get Bagon to release the Rattata. Houndour released the ember in Bagons direction, forcing the dragon to release and move out of the way. As Rattata tried to scurry off and make some distance, Turtwig caught it with the Tackle that it had just been commanded to do, sending Rattata flying.
"No! Rattata! Get up!" The child had made a mistake in letting Rattata get too close to two enemies like that. A mistake Zane was proud to take advantage of. The boy regrouped his Pokemon for another run, as this time Zane began to bark his own orders once more. "Turtwig, tackle that Rattata. Bagon, bite, now!" Both Pokemon launched forward with their attacks, running in the direction of the enemy Pokemon. But that was when the boy commanded his own.
"Oh yeah? Teach this old man a lesson, Houndour, hit Turtwig with a ember. Rattata, tackle Turtwig! Turtwig ran in the direction of Rattata, unaware that the Ember was flying in its direction. Turtwig got caught, a super effective hit due to its own weakness to the fire element. Turtwig stumbled around, down but not out as Bagon took the opportunity to catch Rattata who had came running to use a move with a bite!
The Rattata fell, fainting from the assault. The boy called it back to his Pokeball and looked in the direction of Zane with disgust. "Houndour! Leer!" The Pokemon caught Turtwig with a leer, weakening the defense of Turtwig. "Bite that little pest, Bagon!" Bagon heard the command and rushed at a distracted Houndour, it was as if the boys wish for revenge for the taking out of Rattata had caused him to miss the fact that Bagon was waiting patiently. Bagon came up beside of the Pokemon, catching it with a Bite. Only halfway though, as Houndour had attempted to dodge.
"Quick Turtwig, tackle it now!!" Turtwig launched at the distracted Houndour, as all Houndour could do was briefly turn its head as Turtwig ran up ran up in its direction and caught it with a tackle! Houndour slowly fell to the ground, having to be recalled to the Pokeball as the boy seemed to break into tears at the assault from Zane and his Pokemon. [/blockquote] OOC: I was told to solo it the other day, hope that's still the case, xD

Zane proceeded to heal off his pokemon with Potions once more. Then he began to search the area for more Pokemon. His first experience in a battle had went rather successful, but his team needed an expansion even more than he thought. Most successful trainers had six, while he had two. He needed to remedy the situation he found himself in, and he needed to remedy it right here and now. "Lets go, we need to find more Pokemon. Or at least another brat.." Zane said as he and his Pokemon continued to search the area, although the Pokemon didn't stray to far from him. Just in case there were more enemies afoot than any of them realized. Spoink Female Own Tempo Level 7 Moves:Splash, Psywave Burmy Overcoat Male Level 10 Moves:Protect, Tackle As Zane walked through the forest a Spoink was bouncing around happily, but after a couple minutes, her bounces getting higher and higher she ended up hitting a branch where a Burmy had been sleeping just around the corner from where Zane would turn to find them on the floor. And they would attack him for knocking them both out of the tree. The Burmy being unknowing and the Spoink just playing along.
