PERSONALITY TRAITS:

Itsuki is a quiet and happy person when it comes to meeting him for the first time. He doesn’t have much contact while growing up, so he would be awkward in conversations with both sexes. However, on the topic of breeding, depending on which one exactly, he will talk his mouth and the listener’s ears off. Much to the stereotypical views he heard about, he is not a pervert and does not go around banging girls. Also, he does not sound like a redneck.

He is a reserved person and tends to keep his emotions in check, understanding that Pokemon can sense emotions in a way, especially babies. He had quite a bit of practice with his baby Sentret since the baby seemed to be quite sensitive towards his human’s emotions. Also, he speaks as politely as he can and upholds his manners towards everyone. This may cause him to become a target for certain people who wish to take advantage of him.

Yes, he does hate that kind of people, and wishes he didn’t have to be so gentle. Things would never be that easy to change. Regardless, he knows he can defend himself somewhat well in a fistfight. However, he’d prefer to stay out of any kind of fights, except for Pokemon battles.

Once he is in a Pokemon battle, he will attempt to use tactics and brawn strength to win in the battle. Afterwards, either he won or lost, he will be just happy, thank his opponent politely, and go on his merry way. Overall, he is an easy person to make friends with, and his personality is an added bonus.

Itsuki was born to a very happy and relaxed couple in Solaceon Town, a perfect place to raise their first child. His life there was a very happy one, filled with seemingly never-ending fun and relaxation. His family lived on a large ranch and had several herds of various Pokemon. Once he grew old enough, his parents started to teach him basic school materials and breeding. They were quite careful around that area, and explained about each group Pokemon had and how important it was to have the right partners. It took him several years to memorize all of the groups, and even longer for him to remember a few Pokemon in each groups. After all, there are 694 Pokemon.

Regardless of the amount, Itsuki managed to memorize certain Pokemon for a certain group, a feat that took him a while to master. His parents told him it was fine to not to remember all of them. It was impossible for a human to remember every single Pokemon out there and their breeding groups. Anyway, while he was attempting to memorize what he was supposed to memorize, he was introduced to his parents’ Pokemon: a herd of Ponytas and Rapidashes, Miltanks, and Tauros, a Ninetails, Sandslash, and Persian.

He also had to memorize how to take care of variety of Pokemon. Caring for fire Pokemon was difficult since the horses and fox didn’t like water and he ended up having to bribe them, which ended up with no baths. Eventually, he was able to learn how to wash fire Pokemon and earn their trust. The same could be said for the other herds and single Pokemon.

Eventually, his parents had to teach him how to spot and pair up partners, something that would take him much longer to do. They trained him to keep the rooms in the barn clean and spotless, make various food types for different types of Pokemon they currently had, and kept him grooming the Pokemon. They had to show him how to pair them up and explain that sometimes there were some Pokemon who were aggressive to their partners. He learned that, in order to prevent the partner from being injured, he would have to fight that aggressive Pokemon off and faint it as soon as possible before it could do any extra damage to anything.

Despite of all the ‘intimate’ lessons, he stayed as pure as he could be, shooing off airhead girls and keeping out of trouble with other rough boys. He understood that breeding was a time-consuming work, something that should never be taken lightly. Due to this, his body had grown quite lean and somewhat muscular from all of the lifting, cleaning, carrying. The family did some farming as well, which was something Itsuki willingly took part in.

After all, it was their food they had to get on the table.

As time went on and Itsuki become more knowledgeable, he started to earn money from breeding some of the trainer’s Pokemon together. He usually gave his money to his parents so they could pay off the bills and such, not caring if he wanted to go out on a journey or not. He didn’t feel the need to be famous. All he wanted was to remain on the ranch and help his parents out with caring for Pokemon.

However, his parents had other ideas, but they were quite stuck on convincing him to go out and see the world. They didn’t know how to tell him to go out, travel, and gain more experiences with breeding. One day, there was a rather terrible storm, and, after it was finished, his parents went out to clean up the debris that had somehow ended up in their ranch and found a Sentret egg among a mess of leaves and branches.

They decided the final phase of their teaching would be about eggs, and they started to teach Itsuki about caring for the eggs, proper temperatures for different types of eggs. Once that part was over, they handed the egg they found earlier, and warned him to be careful.

It wound up taking slightly longer since Itsuki was new to this, but the egg hatched and revealed a healthy baby Sentret. It was a Pokemon he never saw before, and started to feel a small urge. He did not know the urge until it grew and grew as he cared for the baby Pokemon. Eventually, he realized he wanted to go out, and see the world and Pokemon in it instead of the ranch he had been living in.

His parents searched for a ticket and bought one that traveled to Kuro. It had everything in that area, so it would be a good experience for him to see most of Pokemon, and try to set up his own breeding center over there. It wasn’t easy saying good bye to their son, but they understood they had to let him go.

He hopped on the plane, and landed in a city before getting on a boat to Kuro.

He honestly has no secrets. He views them as a stupid thing to do.
