Itsuki looked over the railing to stare at the rushing waters pounding against the boat, and grinned to himself. He could feel his body buzzing with excitement and adrenaline at the fact he was actually going to be exploring Kuro. The others didn't exactly share the same feelings he was currently having, except for one Pokemon: his baby Sentret named Gabriel.
Gabriel squealed softly as he clung onto Itsuki's head so he wouldn't fall off or into the water. To keep his hold on his human's hair, he curled his long tail around Itsuki's neck. Once more, he squealed softly, sharing the same feelings. He was so excited to see more of the world instead of the ranch! Maybe he would make some friends!
Soon enough, the boat arrived, gently floating to the docks, and everyone got off. Itsuki wandered off to stare at some of the Pokemon he had heard about but never seen before. Eventually, he found himself standing in a yard that belonged to a lone building. He stared at it in silent curiosity while Gabriel copied him, tilting his head, causing his long ears to flop to the side.
"I guess we could go inside, Gab...." The young man murmured, already walking up the steps, and knocking on the door. The baby Sentret squealed softly, wriggling around to sit on his head and spreading his arms wide open in an attempt to attract some attention.
"What are you doing, Gab?" Itsuki asked, feeling his baby wriggle around on his head. He couldn't see anything, so he just hoped Gabriel wasn't doing anything odd.

The days just seemed to pass on by as Iouna worked on her studies. She currently was trying to figure out how pokemon even have powers. It sure did give her headache, even more than Creep bothering her all the time with his rumbling on about how good porn is and all that shit. Sighing softly, she pushed herself out of the black cushioned computer chair and paced around on her black heeled shoes. She had to admit she was rather bored, since no one has stopped by to pick up a starter pokemon lately.
Taking a sip of her black coffee, she was getting ready to sit down when someone knocked on the door. Finally! Iouna raced towards the wooden oak door, and turned the golden knob to open it up.

Suddenly, the door flung open, revealing a woman in professional dress clothes. The suddenness scared poor Gabriel as he hastily climbed down to hide behind Itsuki's head, clinging onto his odd-colored hair. The young man reached to pat the baby's back soothingly, and smiled at the professor while looking past her to see the interior was like.
"Hello, professor. Sorry about Gab. He's a baby." Itsuki apologized before talking once more, "I heard you give out variety of starters so I came over here to see if that's true." He stood there for a minute before he realized something.
"Oh! I haven't introduced myself. I'm Itsuki and this is Gabriel, my baby Sentret. By the way, he's too young to be my first Pokemon so... That's why I'm here today!" Itsuki said warmly, extending a hand for the professor to shake.

Iouna smiled at the boy and welcomed him in. "Hello, I am Professor Iouna, and yes we have a variety of pokemon to choose from. First you must fill out this form." Iouna grabbed a form off her desk, as well as a pen and handed it to him. She also grabbed the tray of pokeballs and handed that to him as well. " Once you're done, you may pick a pokemon. You can also interact with them if needed." Iouna sat down and waited for him to pick, a smile on her face.

"Oh? A form? Huh, alright, thank you." Itsuki rambled, taking the form, and sitting down to fill out the paper. While he focused on the form, Gabriel peeked out at Iouna and the tray of poke balls she had in her hand. Those shiny balls... He had never seen them before!
The baby jumped from his human's head to the table, and poked the shiny red balls. Squealing softly, he stared at all six poke balls, and adjusted all of them before hitting all of the white centers with his tail. Instantly, all six Pokemon came out, grumbling and chatting among themselves about the sudden light. Again, Gabriel was frightened at how quickly these things appeared, and raced to hide behind Itsuki's back.
"Hm?" The young man hummed as he finished up, and glanced behind him. Why did Gabriel just run and hide behind his back? The sudden coldness told him something so he turned around to see an ice-cream Pokemon staring at him with a soft smile on her face. Oh, so that was the reason why. He glanced at the other five Pokemon as they stared at him, probably wondering what was that brown fluff and why it'd run off.
"Gab. It's okay, they seem to be nice. Here, see? They aren't doing anything." Itsuki softly pulled his baby Sentret out from behind him so the baby would realize they wouldn't harm or scare him. He squealed softly again, and all six Pokemon tilted their heads.
"Oh, Gabriel is just a baby. I don't think he can talk like you guys right now." The breeder explained while looking over all of the Pokemon. Half was grass while the rest was a mixture of Ice, Ground, and Poison. Their coloration was off, and he wondered why until he realized these could be shinies.
The baby Sentret stared at everyone, seeming to prefer the grass starters. He hopped down from Itsuki's lap, ran over to the grass starters, and started to poke them. The Bulbasaur groaned, and pushed him away while the Turtwig whined a little, and hid into her shell. The Snivy sighed, grabbed Gabriel's paw, and walked him back to his human.
"Hm... Hey Snivy? Mind coming with us? It seems Gabriel is happy with you. I mean, if- if you don't mind." Itsuki stammered a little, earning a small chuckle from the fifth generation Pokemon starter. The Snivy nodded, jumped on the table, and took his poke ball. How he knew which was his was a mystery.
"Professor? I'll take the Snivy. Is there anything else I should do or take?" Itsuki asked, uncertain if that was all he needed to do.
