At last Shinzu had departed Cross Village, though he wasn't exactly happy about leaving its safety. All that awaited him in the forest ahead were a multitude of trees, which all manner of scary and viscous Pokemon could be using for cover. Not being the type to run away from a challenge however, the teen allowed his lungs to fill with air before he screamed out from the top of his lungs loud enough to wake the dead. "COME AND GET ME!" |

Not to far away sat a tough asshole of a Scraggy. He had left dents in everything, and even manage to ward off his enemies. Not that the little yellow pokemon would have any of course. It was an angry little bugger, didn't like much, or maybe it was a headbutting obsession. God knows what that little pokemon had going on in his head when he bashed stuff with his head. When he was sitting down he heard the human yell and instantly jumped up wanting to smash it. His little legs started to spin like sonics until he came to the male and ran in to headbutt him in the shins. Shinzu would notice a bright yellow blur whizzing through the forest and seemingly heading in his general direction. "What the!?" Out of fear of what the strange Pokemon was aiming to attack, the teen would instinctively reach for his Pokeball and send out Deino in a flash of red light. "Meatshield time!" Rather than listening to her owner however, Deino would ignore the order and make a dash for the Scraggy, aiming to ram straight into him.

The small yellow pokemon had managed to be somehow be tracked down. The human had somehow managed to send out a Dieno, where he got it, he didn't care but it was going down, 6 t under ground that was. As soon as it had felt the impact of dragon horse dog looking thing he quickly pulled his head back and went in to slam his head into the pokemon several times as hard as he could. Deino would cringe as the yellow Pokemon slammed his head onto hers multiple times, causing a harsh pain to resonate right into the very core of her skull. Refusing to pass out so easily however, Deino stood her ground by planting her feet onto the soil below before opening her mouth wide as if to bite the enemy. Instead of using her teeth however, a purple flame would explode outward and aim to slam the foe right into a tree on Shinzus command. "Dragon Rage!"

The aggressive Scraggy had managed to do some damage from his repeated headbutts. The little feet of his had managed to get dug into the ground giving him good footing. Soon though it felt a blunt force that sent him flying backwards into the ground. It gave a small cry before standing back up and charging in with another barrage of headbutts. This Scraggy certainly was stubborn, but thanks to that Deino could prepare herself by rooting her entire body into the grown in anticipation of another headbutt. As predicted, the yellow Pokemon would edge forwards to bring down its skull like a hammer, however rather than letting him do as he pleased, Deino would extend her jaws wide, allowing the headbutt to hit her directly on the teeth which would send a harsh resonating wave into her very gums. In the end though she had confidence in her jaw strength, which she would use to clamp down tightly onto the foes skull so that he would be hit with a direct Dragon Rage right in the face.

The dragon rage attack had hit dead center of Scraggy body. The black dragon energy ball would send the Scaggy back at a great distance. However, Scaggy doesn't want to go down without a fight. The Scaggy grit it teeth down through the pain of it all. It leans it body downwards which allows the dragon rage attack to be push off of it body. Then, using it legs, Scraggy jump upwards for it final headbutt attack! Scraggy Male || Level 12 || Shed Skin Leer || Low Kick || Sand- Attack || Feint-Attack || HeadButt  |

In anticipation of the headbutt, Deino would side step to the left slightly. If it were any other attack it would not have been enough to dodge, but thanks to Scraggy stubbornly sticking with the same attack for the third time, Deino was able to avoid the attack entirely before she would kick off the ground and tackle the foe from behind in a attempt to finish it off.

Scraggy Male || Level 12 || Shed Skin Leer || Low Kick || Sand- Attack || Feint-Attack || HeadButt  That final tackle had done the job, as Scraggy was sent flying through the air and into a nearby tree which seemed to have knocked him out cold. He wished he could have won, but there was nothing he could do to stop the dragon-type's onslaught of attacks, even though he was of a slightly higher power than the Deino. Now if Shinzu wished to capture him, it would be quite simple and he wouldn't fight back at all. So if he was captured he would end up traveling with Shinzu, if not then after he woke up Scraggy would likely start banging his head on stuff again. +1 level |

Shinzu would clasp his Pokeball tightly in his hand before returning Deino in a bright beam of red light. "This place is tough..." It had only been one battle, but the trainers Pokemon had suffered grave injuries, leaving him reluctant to use her again. "Come on out Magby!" A pinkish Magby would then appear, jumping up and down like he was on a trampoline before losing his footing and falling down harshly. "I hope your up to this..." The teen would then look deeper into the forest, noticing a slightly humming sound emanating into the air. He didn't want to go in too deep, but at the same time he knew that if he wanted to catch something good he would have to make a sacrifice. "Beedrill... Maybe a Scyther! Yeah, I want a Scyther!" |

There was no way he would stand to see a conscious fire type pokemon in his line of view, so without hesitation the magikarp fired off a Dragon Rage attack in the form of a jagged beam that might remind you of an ice beam or electric attack but no, this was dragon rage which only special Magikarp could learn. And he was indeed a special Magikarp.

The sudden rainfall had caught Shinzu off guard, instinctively causing him to shield Magby. As the Pokemon looked back in confusion however, he remembered that not all Pokemon were fearful of the rain, namely Charmander's who had to be cautious of water because of their tails. As the teen backed off however, he would suddenly find Magby cringing in pain and he was hit by a familiar purple beam. "Dragon Rage!?" The attack had been carved onto the trainers very eyes thanks to the numerous times Deino had used it, however the foe was no Deino, but rather a Magikarp. "Aren't Magikarp's meant to be useless!?" Upon saying that Magby would brush off the damage before spitting out a pitch black cloud of poisonous gasses, both to damage the enemy and also to hide his own location.

The world around Magikarp would begin to fade to black as he was hit by the smog, however he would not give up so easily. With his rage of fire types fueling him, the foe would dart around the area swiftly, attempting to ram into anything that could be Magby. Upon making contact with the pink Pokemon, Magikarp would grin at its luck before letting out another purplish Dragon Rage at point blank range, though not before cringing slightly thanks to all the poisonous fumes it had inhaled. While all this was going on, Magby would spit out some embers right before being hit squarely by the purple bolt of energy, sending him flying onto the cold ground.

Magby was now highly frightened, unsure of what to do. No matter how much Shinzu screamed at him to attack, the Pokemon would simply remain there shivering as it stared off against the Magikarp. As the foe leaned back to prepare for another Dragon Rage, Magby would instinctively charge towards it, aiming to jump on top of it or something, which probably would of been more useful if it knew body slam. As the pink Pokemon made contact with the enemy, he would be sent flying along the air, propelled by the Dragon Rage which would eventually toss it back down to the ground as gravity took hold. "Dammit..."
Scooping up the unconscious Magby, Shinzu would grin slightly as he looked up at the Magikarp who seemed to have burns on the top of his head where Magby had made contact with him. The fish Pokemon now had a duo of poison and burns damaging his system. There probably wasn't even a need to send out Deino, especially when considering that if he waited a few minutes the enemy would probably faint on his own. However the teen didn't want a simple hollow victory, he needed, wanted that powerful Magikarp. Not because it might help him pick up girls, but because it almost called out to him.
Grabbing the empty Pokeball by his side right after Magikarp took damage from its status ailments, Shinzu would then throw the ball right at the fish Pokemon, causing the ball to envelope him in bright red light. The ball would then begin thrashing around violently, though at this point the teen could do little but wait for the Pokemon inside to submit. "Come on... Come on..."
